Cute cozy 2 Bedrooms on the main floor + a loft.
Full Kitchen with new appliances under 4 yrs, dishwasher, in-unit laundry and 1 Bathroom with Tub/Shower. Sleeps 1-5. Perfect for a couple or family.

Huge deck overlooking the virtually UNOBSTRUCTED gorgeous views.
Adirondack chairs, picnic table, barbecue, umbrella and lawn chairs.

This is a self-contained cottage. We dont live on property, there is only 1 suite - yours!

LOCATION:
The cottage is in the heart of Gillies Bay where the island's best waterfront and facilities are.
Short walk or drive to General Store and Farmer's Market on Sundays and Shelter Point. Also, short distance to community hall, library, as well as a short distance to clinic and tennis courts, hiking trails, 9 hole golf, boat access, airport and a 20 min drive to the ferry terminal.. Experience island life and the beach cottage lifestyle!

LAYOUT
RARE, drive up to your cabin, 3 steps up to deck and cabin. Easy loading/unloading!

Main floor: Living and Dining area, kitchen, bathroom with 1 extra-comfy King sized bed and 1 Queen sized bed on main floor. If your group is bigger, our ladder leads you up to a low ceiling 5' loft (at its peak) which has 2 Twin beds best suited for ages 7 and up. 800 sqft total. King sized bed is two XL twin beds combined using King sized sheets, exact same size as a King.

WATERFRONT- Back of property leads to beach below through path and steps to Beach below, please be careful particularly young kids or elderly, may not be suitable for mobility challenged. Or just stay on the deck! Perfect for summer sunsets and winter storm watching. Steps to the quiet beach below. When you catch low tide during the day, miles and miles of sandy beachfront!!

Wildlife abounds on the island: try spotting seals, dolphins, whales, blue heron, eagles, kingfisher, blue jays, black tail deer

Gem of a place on a gem of an Island

Solid place over looking the ocean and you get everything. Forest, water, even animals with deer greeting us in the morning.Place is fully equipped if you want to cook a dinner or just chill on a patio. Rooms are spacious and clean. Check in was such a breeze.

Nicole was quick to respond to queries which is appreciated. The view is nice but most of the furniture shown in the pictures were put away for the winter. I had picked this property so I could sit on the outdoor couch and read so I was disappointed and wish this was communicated before we rented. The property was clean. We found the beds too hard for our liking but you cannot please everyone with the type of bed. There are minimal cooking pots so for someone like me who likes to cook it made things difficult. We were only two and found the property a bit crammed. We had an issue with the batteries dying in the lock but someone came very quickly once I got a hold of Nicole. There doesn’t appear to be any outdoor light on the deck ( or it is burnt out) which made it harder to barbecue once the sun went down. Overall, the stay was ok.

We had a wonderful time in your cozy cabin overlooking the Salish Sea during the stormy season. The cabin had everything we needed for a fun winter getaway, puzzles, DVDs, a comfortable bed, and a fully stocked kitchen.
