The village of Rattelvitz consists of the manor house with its adjoining fields, which extend to the Bodden of the Baltic Sea.



3 km from Rattelvitz is the village of Gingst with shops and restaurants. Gingst has retained its historical character to this day thanks to its once medieval hustle and bustle. Not only the circular market square with its houses, but also the craftsmen's workshops still show the village as a former center of craftsmanship on Rügen.



The special thing about the location of Gut Rattelvitz is the absolute peace and quiet; you will be woken up by birds in the morning. It is not uncommon to see hares or deer grazing in the meadows around the estate.



Hikes and bike tours can be started directly from the house due to the proximity to the forest. For example, you can cycle to the beautiful island of Ummanz, which is 6 km from Rattelvitz. There you can swim on a small beach or take advantage of the windsurfing opportunities. If you would like to spend a day at the beach, we recommend driving 37 km to the Baltic Sea beach of Juliusruh. A beautiful long white sandy beach awaits you there, which is the ideal destination on a warm summer's day. A few kilometers from Rattelvitz you have the opportunity to go horseback riding.
