A lovely villa in the heart of Tuscany

The facilities were great, including access to the swimming pool. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast options were good. Parking on site. Villa is a 10 minute drive to two lovely Tuscan towns (Greve and Panzano). Would stay here again - it was so atmospheric!

Joli hotel de charme.

Hotel dans une grosse maison Toscane. Au bord dune route pas tres passante, mais tres calme. Jolie piscine. La patrone est tres sympa. Seul petit bemol: pas de clim ni de filet anti moustiques aux fenetres. Résultat on a pas pu ouvrir les fenêtres (ma copine se fait systatiquement devorer par les moustiques de 3km a la ronde!) donc on a eu chaud. Je suggere a la responsable de faire installer des stores anti moustiques, quon profite de la fraicheur de la nuit

My stay was great! They are so helpful and friendly that I had the best stay, it’s very beautiful here and it’s on a bus route too which was great as I didn’t have a car! Close to a cute little village and so much more.

The charming beauty and history of the Villa Rosa building, paired with the warmth and TLC provided by the amazing owners Gemma and Neri was fantastic. Villa Rosa è una splendida gemma immersa nelle vigne del chianti. Salendo per il sentiero che porta alla piscina, si ha la possibilità di passeggiare tra le Vigne della vincina azienda agricola e ammirare la statua del "San Francesco gigante".

The hotel is situated in a beautiful part of Tuscany. Be aware that if you use Google maps to navigate, it will try to take you down some impassable tracks to the back of the hotel, so be alert. Unfortunately, our stay started badly. The owner repeatedly complained about our children doing things like playing in the garden and the pool. So the place is definitely not family friendly. The cleaning service was erratic and the windows of the room don't close properly. We all got bitten by mosquitos the first night. The hotel should really put up some net curtains or mosquito repellent in the rooms. Breakfast was just about adequate. Overall ok but expensive for what we got.

Zwembad was nog niet bruikbaar water was groen. Balkon bij de kamer was erg ruim en comfortabel om te relaxen. Bezetting van de kamers was minimaal daardoor ook erg rustig in het hotel. Omgeving geweldig veel te zien centrale ligging tov veel mooie dorpjes en steden.

Für uns war es unzumutbar die gebuchten Nächte in dieser "Villa" zu verleben.Nach Besichtigung des Zimmers und der " Villa" haben wir uns entschlossen weiter zu reisen und die Dienste nicht in Anspruch zu nehmen. Schade um die kostbaren Urlaubstage

Beautiful Villa spectacular views

We loved staying at Villa Rosa. we visited in early September. The Room Was decorated in true Tuscan style. The room was comfortable and clean. The view from our private Terrace was spectacular. The chef cooked wonderful food and the hosts were very friendly. Neri, the owners son gave us a free Tour and very interesting History on the establishment and the area in his own time . The Nearby Town was stunning. With amazing scenery and several wonderful little Bistros. we Recommend this little Villa and would definitely return.

Vi var på genomresa, stannade två nätter. Ingen ac, inte rent på golvet i rummet, massor av spindelnät här och var, vi såg ett par spindlar (hur många fler fanns?), duschmunstycket var trasigt och duschen inte ren. Handdukarna byttes aldrig ut. Frukosten hade ett mycket litet urval. Poolen var smutsig. Nej, vi kommer inte åter.

1905년에 지어진 빌라를 호텔로 사용 중입니다. 외관은 세심하게 관리되고 있지는 않은 것 같지만 침실은 저택의 품격을 갖추고 있습니다. 친절한 직원들과 정성스런 아침 식사도 인상적 입니다. 고려할 점은 그레베 시내외는 거리가 있어서 차량을 렌트하는 경우에 유용합니다.

Pros and cons. Pros: Fantastic surroundings. Beautiful house with wonderful Tuscan feeling. We had a room with a terrace and the view was amazing. The terrace was huge and at night, we enjoyed a bottle of wine under the stars. It was great. Breakfast was good. Nothing major but there was cereal, bread, cheese and fresh coffee and jams. Cons: The pool! It was so dirty it was unusable. There were bugs and leaves floating in it and the bottom is dirty, the sides are yellow. It was off putting. Also, there is no bar or anything like that. They gave us water when we asked but there was no service of drinks or snacks. Drive into town takes about 5 minutes.

Authentisches Residieren

Wir waren leider nur für eine Nacht dort. Hatten ein wunderschönes Zimmer unter dem Dach und einen tollen Blick über die Weinberge. Das angebotene Menü am Abend war sehr lecker und die überschaubare Anzahl an Gästen schafft eine damiliäre Atmosphäre. Sehr nettes deutsch/englisches Besitzerpaar.
