Bait and switch

The room and property were beautiful, clean and comfortable. However, we chose this hotel specifically because we wanted to relax in the pool after traveling all day. We were extremely disappointed to hear the pool was closed. They gave no apology or offer to compensate us for our trouble. It would be so easy for them to post on their website that the pool was closed. So, this gave me the impression that we were purposely misled.

Checking in the front desk was not very friendly. Seemed like we more of an inconvenience trying to her to check in. When checking out the front desk service was very nice and helpful.

First room assigned to us TV had no signal and it seemed the staff was aware of that, we were assigned a different room, which did have signal Walls must be thin we could hear our neighbor banging around until they apparently went to sleep

The hotel needs updated. I had no hot water to shower. It looks nice on the outside but the rooms need work. It was very disappointing. While on couch, couch shook while sitting on it. I believe laundry room was located on the floor below.

Guest gets punished for faulty biz process

I had to wait over an hour to be checked in on a technicality! Something to do with the fact that because I booked with Hotels.com and I was not charged the $50 incidental…. Ridiculous to punish a guest and make them wait for a business process! Truth be told… it’s not my fault your system was not working properly! Def left a bad vibe with me for Hotels.com and Holiday Inn!!

Less than pleasurable.

There was no hot water in the shower. My vehicle was broken into even though there were lights in the parking lot. My check-in experience was less than desirable because Hotels.com did not release payment to the property, even though the reservation was pre-paid.
