We had a good time

We had a good time here. The sofa bed is very comfortable. Everything works except the beach chair and umbrella are broken. We didn’t need them that much so it didn’t bother us that much. Overall, a very enjoyable stay.

Paradise Found

This condo is absolutely perfect. The location is a 5 minute walk from the beach, 2 minutes from an ABC and 7 minutes from Cheeseburgers in Paradise! The patio is perfect for morning coffee and offers quite a nice view. The condo itself is very well appointed, everything you need is there. We used the pool multiple times and the bbq one evening. The only thing I would point out is the parking is 6’ in height and a bit tight, no oversized vehicles. I had a jeep and was scared the first few times that I would scrape the top. Captain Cook has also been fantastic to book with and communication has been great. If you are looking for a great place to stay in Waikiki, look no further, you found it!

This condo was a fantastic deal. Very clean and comfortable! We love having a kitchen and separate bedroom when traveling, especially when we have our kids with us. The pool and boogie boards were perfect to keep the kids entertained. Free parking was great and had 24 hour security. Only cons are the area isn’t the best after dark according to our relatives who are locals. But still we are from the Seattle area so I’d say it’s not that bad at all.

Some of the outlets didn’t work. Specifically the bathroom outlet didn’t work. The desk outlet was so loose it didn’t charge anything. It’s in a hotel so you expect it to kinda operate like one but it doesn’t. You take care of the resort. Also was charged a Vrbo fee using Expedia.

Its location is fine. It feels trapped in a concrete jungle. Great to have beach chairs etc in the room. It was clean. It smelled of foreign cooking which being world travellers didn’t bother us too bad. Check in was perfect. Great communication with the host as in amazing. The world’s worst elevators. 20 mins just to get from the 9th to lobby. This is due to cleaners needing them as well. Hideaway bed was rock hard and a pancake. It was just very avg in all ways except guest host communication which was super stardom.

Home away from home

My sister and I rented the unit for a week for a mini vacation and to visit our Grandpa for his 90th birthday. The rental unit was everything we were hoping for! Check in was simple and our property manager Byron was friendly and quick to respond. The door keypad came in handy, you didn’t need to worry about losing any keys and could just use a passcode. There were plenty of parking spaces and the garage was easy to navigate in a larger car like a Dodge Charger. Our unit was super clean and organized and provided all the appliances and dishware you could need, there were even seasonings, paper towels and dish soap, extra towels and linens, and beach equipment. The hotel is in a quiet location close enough to the beach and just a short stroll to all of the Waikiki activities. As 2 females, we felt safe walking back to our unit even at night as there were tourists everywhere at all times of the day. From the balcony you can see a little bit of the ocean and a clear view of Diamond Head with amazing sunset lighting later in the day. Best of all was the strong A/C unit, it was a very comfortable stay. We really lucked out getting this unit for our vacation/homecoming visit as it became our home away from home, we were really sad to say goodbye and will definitely consider renting again for future visits. The property was clean and a close walk to the beach, restaurant and shopping. There were 2 beach chairs, boogy boards and a umbrella to take to the beach. That was nice! Check in was easy and the property manager was responsive. We had an issue with the toilet and it was fixed by the next afternoon. We enjoyed sitting on the lanai having our breakfast in the morning. There is a lot of city noise but with the doors closed we didn’t hear it. The free parking was great! It can be difficult to park as it is a tight fit but I think what to expect when parking in any bigger city parking garage. We went to the pool on afternoon and it was good. It would have been nice to have a hot tub as well. We would stay here again. We would stay here again.

Loved the location! Walking distance to Waikiki beach, shops, restaurants and the zoo. Room was clean and decent size for family of 4. Property manager was great. Very easy check in and no issues the whole week we were there.

I was torn between getting a hotel or a condo...

We needed a hotel-like stay. I was torn between the amenities of a hotel vs. the benefits of a condo. - Hotel: you'll have more plush/plentiful linens, from towels to bedding. At the condo, we were conservative with our usage and made the "5 towels for 4 people for 4 nights" work. Note: The 2 beds have a thin coverlette on them, but extra blankets were supplied upon request. Sheets for pullout bed were supplied but we needed a blanket, and received it the next day. (Responsive mgt.) - At brand hotels, I never have to worry about the mattress. This condo had new, firm (good in my opinion),quality mattresses. I'm always nervous about the pullout mattress, but THIS IS THE NEW, SOLID type. No sagging/poking springs! - The view. This was just a crash pad for us so we didn't mind just having a peek at the ocean and Diamond Head. Pro: Lots of natural light. - The kitchen! For around the price of a hotel, you get a lovely kitchen. We didn't choose to cook in it, but it had everything we needed for breakfasts/coffee/tea and reheating. - Shower. A solid/decent shower with good water pressure. A few starter amenities are provided. - Free parking space. That's a ~$25 value each day. - We were too busy to tend laundry at the "floor W/D." - One side of curtain rod broke off ceiling, but was fixed next day. - No noise from elevator. - Central AC but vents are up high and blow on your head in BR. For this class/tier of stay, this unit gets 5 stars. Hope that helps you decide!

We had so much fun staying at this place. Everything that we needed was there, boogie boards, beach chairs and a beach umbrella were nice additions to enhance our vacation. Definitely recommended and would be very happy to return to this place.
