Beautiful property, ended up with balcony room overlooking the lake. But somewhat difficult to transfer luggage and valuables from west lot, up elevator to room on east side of 3rd floor. Caution: very steep (almost hidden) drive access; came from several directions to find it, used 1st gear to descend and climb back up to street level

It wasn’t hot this fall — the weather was perfect! The hotel is located right on the shore of a large lake with beautiful views and comfortable spots to relax. Everything was clean, cozy, and very beautiful. A wonderful place to stay!

I didn’t like the no housekeeping service. We stayed 2 nights and did not know we had to empty our trash and ask for more towels until late evening on the second night. This caused bagged trash and wet towels to sit in the room all day and night.

Room was set at 61°when we arrived. Lots of moisture buildup after turning it off. No hot water at the bathroom sink. Good breakfast and area was clean.

The location was great, and I really loved it. However, the hotel itself needs renovation and better maintenance. There was a stain on my pillow, the corners were dusty, and even the breakfast table wasn’t completely clean. The bed was also too soft. I don’t think I’d stay there again.

I would give the cleanliness of my room below average. There were crumbs in the floor, the doors were filthy. There was two spots on the the wall where bugs have been smashed and were not cleaned off. The front desk staff was unfriendly every time we would come and go they not once would greet you at all. The first night at check in the man that was working did not say hello or enjoy your stay. I thought I had lost something the next the morning so I went to the front desk and the woman that was working took at least 3 minutes to help me after I finally said “ma’am” She didn’t seem like she enjoyed her job. The lady that was working the breakfast area was nice and friendly. I did not visit the gym The pool was closed. So the kids were very upset.

The room was spacious and clean, the picture in the ads is beautiful but the lake area when you actually see it is trashy, nasty, filthy. The pool furniture is worn out and nasty, I wouldn't try using it at all.

Quick vacation

Checking in was really good. Friendly staff Really clean hotel Beds were very comfortable. Was sad though because we needed a double and would had loved a room with a balcony facing the lake. Really enjoyed the outdoor seating facing the lake though. The pool also was nice. Only complaint I have. Is: I really wish there had been flavored creamers for the coffee. First morning breakfast not so good but second morning was much better. All n all great stay.
