This condo was in a good location and there was lots of space for our family of 4. The property is nice with a lagoon that was great for the kids to swim in. That said, there are some things to be aware of before choosing to book.First, if anyone in your family is sensitive to smells, this is probably not the place for you. Dad and kids were ok with it, but my wife is very sensitive to smells and the first of three floors had a musty smell that was mildly annoying to me, but my wife couldn't be on that floor at all. She was also afraid that it would trigger our daughter's asthma, so she would not let her sleep on that floor either. So this three floor, three bedroom condo turned into a two floor, two bedroom condo for us. The owner was responsive to outreach, but claimed this was normal and just humidity.Second, this is a three story condo, and the stairs between all three floors are very steep. Two of the three bedrooms are on the top floor, so there will be a LOT of trips up and down the stairs that get tiring and tough on the back when carrying heavy suitcases in a very narrow staircase that is also very steep. When we were there, 4 of the steps literally broke under our feet! The stairs were a laminate flooring where the front of the step hung over the structure of the step, and the boards literally cracked and broke off. The owner was quick to respond to this issue and had someone out the next day for a temporary fix, but the stairs need to be rebuilt.
