We loved the property for many reasons. First, the customer service was amazing. Everyone we dealt with was professional and extremely pleasant. Second, the property is well maintained. It’s not flashy like the properties around them. But that is what we liked. The property was quiet and felt like home away from home. Third, our room was well apportioned, comfortable and had a GREAT view. Fourth, we were close enough to walk to Whalers Village, but didn’t have to because there is a free shuttle that runs every 30 minutes. But if you had to wait it was so comfortable and relaxing waiting outside the lobby for the trolley. Fifth, FREE Parking. Sixth, an actual deep end of the pool. I’m 6’5” and it was nice having a pool that I could dive into. So many of the newer pools are only 4’ deep. So in conclusion, if you’re looking to slow it down a little from all the busyness of Kaanapali, this is the perfect place to do so. We are already looking to come back stay here in the future.

Castaways was delightful and I ate there 7 times. The room 222, was clean and had good cooking equipment. Lory was our cleaning lady and was very accommodating. The pools were perfectly heated and clean.

I was impressed by the hotel. I will definitely go there again next year. The hotel is located right on the seashore, with a swimming pool and a jacuzzi. Everything is designed for a perfect family and children’s vacation.

I understand not having everyday housekeeping services but on the third day only our towels were replaced and the trash removed. I would have preferred a room refresh like wiping and cleaning as well as sweeping the room.

My husband and I were very pleasantly surprised with the AEI at Maui Kaanapali Villa Resort. The room we stayed in was clean, fully appointed, quite, and had a garden/partial swimming pool view as well. The AEI at Maui Kaanapali Villa Resort was also a 3-min. to the beach! The staff were also very friendly and helpful. We truly enjoyed our stay there and we highly recommend this resort!
