If you're looking for a cheap and cheerful motel close by I-80 to lay your head after a long drive, then this place is absolutely fine. It's walkable to the bars and restaurants on 3rd St. (we got a Lyft to East Ivinson Ave. but couldn't get a cab or Uber back after 9pm so had no choice but to walk which took about 30 minutes). There's a gas station and a small Mexican restaurant in the immediate vicinity, but not much else. Might spend a bit more to stay centrally if we visited Laramie again but no complaints about the staff or facilities of Motel 8!
