First time staying at Elwood. It felt like we found a hidden gem for sure. Staff was helpful and polite, the restaurant was so nice with the music and great food. Only snag was the water pressure in our shower was very low, almost nonexistent. Otherwise great stay!

The property is conveniently located to many attractions and downtown. It is a quite and quant small hotel with great live music on the weekends and food was really good. I have stayed there a couple of times now while visiting my son at UKY. Maddie is the hostess with the mostest.

We do love the Elwood. Great bar. It did close too early for us to enjoy your night cap this time though. This is our second time staying there. It is affordable when it’s not keeneland season. Couple things… I really wish that they would have coffee in the rooms. No one wants to go down to the lobby in their pajamas to get a cup of coffee. It’s also lacking extra blankets and pillows in the rooms. And extra toiletry items would be nice. It is a clean hotel with very modern furnishings and its super comfortable bed, which is an absolute plus. I do think the air quality needs to be improved. Next time I stay, I’ll bring my air purifier. Perhaps the filters need to be changed?? Next time I stay, I’ll bring my air purifier. I can always tell when I’m staying in a hotel with poor air quality because I come back with a cough for days.

The rooms were huge, the beds were very comfortable and the hotel staff were super friendly! It was a very nice hotel and beautifully decorated! We will definitely stay there again when we go back to Lexington for an overnighter! It is about a 10 minute drive to Rupp Arena.

Hotel was cute and clean. Overall, enjoyed our stay. We did struggle a bit with our heat/ac in the room. And enjoying coffee in the room could be easier! You have to ask for a machine to be brought to the room. Would stay there again though!

The rooms were large, yes, but mostly waisted space. There was a huge area by the front door but it was empty. I asked for pillows that were not feathers and I was told we usually one give one. (?) We are both sleeping in the bed. And so, apparently is the giant plant in the room. The leaves fall on to my pillow (feathered) and I have to move the huge plant so I can sleep. The bar was fine and the music was good. Dinner menu was fair, we went somewhere else bc the door to the bar/restaurant opened right to the outside. It was very cold. We ended up eating there for breakfast. Mine was fine but my husband's was wrong. Service was too slow to ask for a correction.
