Room was okay. The reason behind booking this hotel was sea view from the room but it was total disappointment when got into the room. Room has no outside view at all. When asked at reception, I have been told that we need to pay extra charges to get sea facing rooms. This is nowhere mentioned when we have booked it through Expedia.

We love Llandudno. 1st stay at the Grand wont be the last. Great view from the room, great size room. Could have been cleaner, wouldnt take much. Good clean bedding. Value for money. The outstanding points are your waitress Jo at dinner and breakfast who went above and beyond to make our stay great, and one of the chefs at breakfast (unfortunately i didnt get his name). They're the ones that make the difference.

Not that bad at all

I have read a few reviews about the Grand Hotel being one of the worst hotels in Llandudno but it actually wasn't that bad at all, considering the price I've paid for. It is at an excellent spot within the area. Yes, the floors are a bit creaky, and the rooms are a bit out dated, but the main thing was to have a nice rest after exploring Llandudno, and we did. Would I recommend this hotel? Not to everyone because people have different standards, but to someone looking to save on a night's stay in Llandudno, I surely would! I hope we could visit once more some other time. :)

Kept awake all night with people running up and down the stars, playing music, singing and shouting. We were on the 5th floor and our bedroom was right on the stairs. Apart from the lack of sleep the hotel is well situated near the town centre and car park

Nice Hotel

I only use the hotel for sleeping in , I am not interested in anything else really. I tend to leave early in the morning and return late at night . The room was nice and the bed was comfortable and I would use the hotel again. I did notice their had been a lot of complaints about the hotel but I guess they must have upped their game because all looked good to me.

Dirty and rude staff

The women on the front desk was very rude not welcoming had no manners never said please or thankyou or have a nice stay nothing very bad attitude didnt even smile . Had to go back down as key didnt work very rude when handing key back to me . We were not informed about breakfast time i asked another someone else who was staying there aswell. Room was dirty dirty cups and spoons with food on . Drawns with crumbs and hair in bits under bed so hadn't been hovered. Tray with some tea bags and coffee in all dirty very unpleasant stay . Beds not comfortable and very old basic Furniture it felt like a hostel room . No coffe in the morning at breakfast the machine was broken Only thing we enjoyed was the singer at night.
