I loved how unique this hotel was and eould have marked it higher except consistent emails trying to charge us for checking in early and upgrading- 6 of them. Then to automatically be charged a service charge for drinks ftom the bar was disgusting.
Nice hotel but money grabbing at every opportunity lets it down.
A Stylish and Family-Friendly Stay at Ember Locke, Kensington:
I had a wonderful stay at Ember Locke in Kensington with my family (a party of four/ with 2 teens), and it couldn’t have been a better experience. The hotel is hip and trendy, with a modern aesthetic that still feels warm and welcoming. We stayed in a family room, which was spacious and thoughtfully laid out — it was especially nice that the kids had their own room and bathroom. The beautiful garden in the back was a peaceful bonus, perfect for unwinding after a day out. Overall, it was a fantastic place to stay, and I’ll definitely be returning on our next trip!
Super close to Earl Court station for quick access to underground.
Great location - 5 minutes to Earl’s Court and 3 minutes or less to multiple bus routes. Friendly staff. Room had everything we needed. Would stay again.
This is a beautiful boutique hotel in a lovely part of London close to Holland Park, the Design Museum, the Natural History Museum, etc. Two great things about it are the incredible staff and the peaceful garden in the back. I will certainly return just for that!
Well appointed room and really well designed suite. Nice attention to small details. Just an all around comfortable and great vibe. Wonderful location. We were impressed.

Liked: Cleanliness
Room had all kitchen set up for 2. Tiny but had all utensils, pots etc including nice wine glasses. Comfortable bed and clean spacious bathroom.
Did not like being in “basement” floor. And very poor lighting.
I loved this stay! My friend and I visited for 3 nights from Australia, it was our first trip to London.
Although the location is a little further out from the main sights of London we still found the quiet and pretty location of Kensington lovely.
The hotel is gorgeous, small but so much thought has gone into the layout and decor.
The staff were absolutely lovely, they made us feel so welcome and went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant stay.
Breakfast was included in our stay and they had a delicious menu to choose from.
Our room was small, but comfortable. It had many great conveniences like a fridge, washer/dryer, kitchenette and more.
I would absolutely stay here again and recommend to anyone who is not concerned about being right in the heart of London.
