Modern, clean and generous accommodation close to Paddington station Generally this place is great - better than the description in many ways. It is an entire mews house. Double bedroom (generous double bed - might be a king) with ensuite dressing room and ensuite shower room on ground floor with another separate toilet room also on ground floor. Large hallway. On the next level there is an open plan kitchen/dining/ sitting room as per the photos. Next level has 2 double rooms and a full bathroom with shower over the bath. On the top floor there is another room with a double sofa bed which was also made up- there is a tiny terrace off this room. So it is in effect a 4 bed 2.5 bathroom house with 3 double beds and a comfortable sofa bed in the 4th bedroom and separate openplan living/ dining/ kitchen. Everything was very clean and comfortable - good beds and linen. Plenty of towels
Had booked because of its proximity to the paddington station but the keys had to be collected a couple of hundred meters further up the street - not a big deal unless you had a lot of luggage etc.
The lights are 'smart' - takes a little getting used to the switches. There is one bedside lamp in each room and the one in the top room with the sofa bed wasn't working - one on each side of a double bed would be nice, although there were bedside controls for the ceiling lights. Very basic provisions so get milk etc when picking up the keys - There was a small jar of basic Nescafe, some hot sauce, cooking oil, salt and pepper- and two small water bottles in the fridge.
