Lovely and accommodating

The hotel and especially the lobby was lovely. The people at the counter were so friendly and accommodating. The beds were a little to firm for us, but I know that many people prefer firm beds. It was so quiet and relaxing.

The stay was fine. Breakfast was not good. Eggs over cooked, everything else under cooked. When we checked out, I was almost charged for two days not for the one night we stayed. Only caught it because I asked for a receipt. Service desk and manager were all fairly new so no one knew how to fix it. Had to call GM. It turned out fine on the end but took an extra 20 mins of my time.

Great local getaway

Our stay at the Ontario Ayres hotel was great! From check-in to check-out there are no complaints. It was a couples trip to celebrate our Valentines Day since we both worked on the actual day. The hotel was clean, quite, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, King studio was spacious and provided us with everything we needed. It was within walking distance of the Ontario Improv which is where we enjoyed a night of comedy, food and drinks. The Ontario mills mall, Regal theater as well as several varieties of places to eat are all right there. The stay at the hotel was the icing on the cake to an excellent weekend.

Great Place, watch out for bugs

The room was spacious and comfortable! The breakfast was delicious and had plenty to choose from. This hotel is right next to the Mills and not far from Victoria gardens so it’s a perfect place to just relax after a movie night or just some drinks. My only complaint came from when I first entered the restroom of my room. There was a baby cockroach exiting the bath tub. Aside from disposing of the little bug, my stay was quite relaxing.

Nice hotel, but lazy employees

Hotel overall was great. The only issue I had was while waiting to check in, the concierge was busy with one person in front of me. There were two female employees that told me he would help me next and they just walked off into a room where I can hear them laughing and joking instead of working. Obviously they could have checked me in, yet I had to wait while they messed around, not doing their job. When it was my turn, I joked with the young man that it seems like it was just him working tonight. He agreed with a frustrated look on his face. Management needs to be put on notice that they are waiting money on employees that don’t work and it makes the company look bad.
