"Il Querciolo" Apartment "Fitto" for 4+2 people in a farmhouse in Valdichiana, in the heart of Tuscany

"Il Querciolo" is an ancient farm located in Valdichiana. It is a place where you can “breathe” the Tuscany and where you can listen to the sound of nature, it is the place to immerse yourself in country life to give and receive unique and unforgettable emotions. "Il Querciolo" is in Badicorte, near Marciano della Chiana. Today is an entirely organic farm that produces legumes, cereals, oil and Syrah wine. These products can be tasted in our Agriturismo, where the cellar is located too.
The farmhouse stands on a gentle hill in the middle of the Valdichiana, among olive groves, vineyards and fields cultivated with wheat and sunflowers. Depending on your needs, you can choose between six types of apartments, created in the old villa and buildings of 19th century, all furnished in a rustic style with original furniture owned by long time by our family.
The apartments are equipped with every comfort, each with an independent bedroom and bathroom. Guests have access to a swimming pool where they can relax and enjoy unique panoramas and sunsets.
The farm is the perfect place for families with children looking for resting in the nature, living the real Tuscany. At “Il Querciolo” you can breathe the story of a family that from generations has loved their land and has remained intimately linked to it.

"Il Querciolo" is located about 3 km far from the exit of the A1 motorway “Monte San Savino”, in a strategic position to allow tourists to visit the beauties of cities like Arezzo, Cortona, Siena, Florence and Perugia. A private car park with a security barrier at the entrance is available upon arrival.

The farmhouse offers guests common areas for relaxation, a covered terrace and a large hut that can be used to play ping pong or have lunch together in the open air. There is also a large grill and a wood-burning oven for making pizza and roasts, a laundry room with two machines and WiFi connection in all areas.
For years we have been preparing an organic vegetable garden where each guest can freely pick fresh seasonal fruit and vegetables. We also let interested guests taste our Extra Virgin Olive Oil and our pure Syrah, produced and bottled in our cellar. Anyone wishing to purchase these products can request them at the Agriturismo.
We gave the apartments the same names as some of our plots of land; “Fitto" is one of these.

The apartment is at the ground floor with independent entrance. It is composed by 3 large rooms, with vaulted brick ceilings in the living room and wooden beams in the living room and bedrooms. It was obtained from the renovation of the cellars. In the living-dining room there is a kitchenette with a round brick arch that separates it from the living room where there is a double sofa bed and fireplace. It features two double bedrooms and two bathrooms with shower/bidet/WC. The furniture are very comfortable, antique, warm and nice. The heating is trough methane gas. The apartment has a small table and chairs in the front and a large table and chairs in the rear garden. It is suitable for the disabled, who have the possibility, if necessary, to park the car next to the apartment, on a special reserved space in front of the secondary entrance
