Ponto Norte is a welcoming accommodation located in the heart of Melgaço, designed to provide comfort, independence, and a true immersion in the essence of the Alto Minho region!

It offers 15 rooms with different typologies, ranging from simple single rooms to spacious family rooms, as well as special rooms with a jacuzzi, ideal for relaxing moments and special occasions. All rooms are equipped with a desk, minibar, air conditioning, and a private bathroom, ensuring a comfortable and functional stay.

The accommodation operates on a room-rental basis and also offers a pleasant communal dining room. This space features a fully equipped kitchenette with a Nespresso capsule coffee machine, mini fridge with freezer, toaster, microwave, electric hob, coffee maker, and dishwasher, as well as tables and chairs where guests can enjoy meals they prepare themselves or bring from outside.

Its location is one of its greatest highlights: just 30 meters away there is a bakery/pastry shop, perfect for daily breakfasts. Within a short walking distance, guests can visit some of Melgaço’s main points of interest, such as local museums, the Solar do Alvarinho, and the iconic Melgaço Castle.

Just a few kilometres away is the Porta de Lamas de Mouro, one of the five entrances to the Peneda-Gerês National Park, ideal for exploring unique and unspoiled landscapes.
