Alexander Beach Resort sijaitsee erinomaisella paikalla Miami Beachin lomalle. Hotelli sijaitsee muutaman minuutin päässä tärkeimmistä nähtävyyksistä ja yöelämästä. The stay was nice, the unit was adequate to our needs and the beds were comfortable. The owner was nice and communicative. The down side was that their were no beach chairs available unless we rented them and they were quite strict about bringing water bottles to the pool.

Fit all our needs

We had a larger group, and It was hard to find anything like this as most places max out at 3 bedrooms. Lots of single bed configurations that could be pushed together to make a king if needed. Beautiful views from the balcony, plenty of seating at the pool (tho we went over the Christmas holiday which may have had less than summer) and the beach was easily accessible with chairs to rent as well as jet skis and paddle boards. We flew in and opted not to rent a car bc after valet fees (40/night) and rental car costs, uber/lyft seemed a better way to get around. There was a free trolley but we could never figure out the stops. So much is walkable anyway, and it was nice to visit South Beach but be able to come back to something more family friendly and tranquil. The pool restaurant was pricey but available as an option. A lot of the dinner options for sit down meals seemed to be inside the high rise hotels. Our favorite was Lola Restaurant & Grill — every dish was amazing. We have never been to Miami and very much enjoyed our stay. The common space of the building itself could use some updates — and there were only 2 elevators which could slow things down at the busier times — but overall, It was a perfect choice for our group.

Wonderful Unit

The unit was perfect! Great views from the balcony, short ride to South Beach, and great hotel pools/access to the beach. Two complaints would be the online listing has one more bed than actually exists (bedroom 4 lists two twin beds but it’s actually one full) which left a member of my party on the stiff leather couch and the resort staff were not too pleasant to interact with. However, the unit itself was great!

Great family place

We enjoyed our stay immensely. Although we stayed for only 2 days, we found the apartment super clean, modern, well stocked, the beds were super comfy, the air conditioning worked well, the check in and out process was super easy, and the host responded to all our inquiries in a very timely fashion. The views were beautiful, the apartment was light and airy and the beach was super accessible and gorgeous! We would definitely stay here again if we came back to the area! Thank you Mark, for a wonderful experience.

Overall great stay.

I arrived at the property about an hour in a half before the check in time. The front desk told me it was ready and gave me the wrist bands. However my code to the door would not work and I was told that it would not work until 1pm. The bell man called mark and was able to get it activated for me. Overall the place was very clean and spacious and met all of our needs. The view of the water was beautiful. It was a great location and the pool was fun with easy access to the beach. Besides the check in process it was overall a great property to stay.

I came Thursday to Sunday with a group of my friends. The room was clean and had everything we needed (kitchen supplies, towels, bed sheets). The views from the balcony and rooms are amazing. The property is so convenient- you could just spend the whole weekend there if needed! Two pools, beach bar with food options, and the beach with access to beach towels and chairs ($15 a day). They also have a café and food mart on the lower level which was very helpful for items we forgot to bring. My friends and I can't wait to come back!

Laid back week

I took my two college kids for their spring break weekdays. We each had our own bedroom and bathroom. This property was perfect-pretty quiet, the apartment exactly as in pictures and summary, close to the beach, walking paths and good local food yet not in the middle of the super busy south beach area. The balcony was perfect for morning coffee each day-seeing the bay and the ocean in opposite directions. We rented a pool cabana from the property manager which was great and made our pool/beach days much nicer and easier. It was perfect since it was a cloudy/rainy week and we were able to duck into the inside during rain showers and easily get outside as soon as it stopped-even useful when we were at the beach. The property manager was quite responsive and quickly handled any issue/question. As I read in a previous review, I didn’t get the amount and kind of communication I’ve gotten after booking other VRBOs where you get more details about the area, food, shopping etc but we didn’t need it ahead of time and the information we received a few days before and at check-in was fine. Great place. Highly recommend it.

Very nice, minimal issues

Hi there, Thanks for a lovely stay at your room. It was beautiful and everyone enjoyed the space. I didn't bring this to you Thursday as we were in full Bachelorette motion and I was the planner, however we were not able to check in early. We paid for 2pm check-in and didn't get inside the room until 3:30/4 which is regular check-in time. Please provide a refund for this. I stayed in the master suite and it was great. Im just learning that the drains in the first to bathrooms drain very slow. When showering, the girls were quickly standing in a puddle of water. No action is needed on your part here as Im just learning of this, but sharing so you'll know. Im not 100% I locked the door properly, however I didn't enter the password again. Thanks again for everything.

Property is amazing

I was moved from the room I rented to a room that wasn't comparable as the disclaimer says.(with less than 24 hour notice) Initially it took almost half a day and much frustration for a response. Mark the property manager finally got in contact with me explaining how they were completely at fault and came up with a few options for my group. Ultimately he did resolve the issue for our group and we had a great stay. Only thing I'd suggest is more of a notice in the event that they have to move you. Pool area is also a great place to chill and unwind. Only one pool was open, but when the other one opens back up it'll only add to awesome pool area. I'd definitely stay again.

Nice room but hotel old

The hotel needs to be updated. The halls smelled like mold and the lightening was horrible. The store is inside the hotel didn't sell anything for headaches only sleeping pills. The room was beautiful and equipped with everything we needed. Also it would be helpful if the name of the property was listed because this was a 3 star hotel and I normally don't do anything under 4 stars.

UNIT 1003=PERFECTION

We had a couples trip in Miami for 4 full days! This unit met all our expectations. It was spotless, roomy & stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The Alexander is currently updating their 2nd pool. It has easy, and very close access to the beach. We didn't stay much in our room as we were there to explore Miami. I will give the ROOM / property management company 5 stars!

Needs work on description

We came down for Super Bowl. The location worked out great. The Actual Condo was fine except for all the drains seemed to be clogged. The main complaint was the actual property. The whole place seemed to under construction. No carpet in hallways. Everything dusty. The walkway to pool/outdoor area seemed to be like concrete hallways in a dungeon. Metal doors rusted through. Bare wires sticking out into hallway. The description of the property was very misleading. The actual condo was nice TV was hard to operate. The building itself is in very poor shape. Could’ve had a much better experience. Will not be using again.
