The room was clean and very nice, even had a balcony. The only downside was noise. About 3AM the neighbors decided to make a bunch of noise and that was the end of our sleep.

They charged me unfairly 200 dollars for having my emotional support animal and the lady from front desk was very rude non empathetic. When I told her that I was in the hospital and my family was the one that was staying there because I had been hospitalized they were so rude

The property was extremely basic. It looked like an office building that was turned into a hotel. The bedsheets had curly hairs on them and the whole place smelled like moisture/mildew.

I mean it served the purpose, but I wouldn’t stay again. The bed was very uncomfortable. The room was very basic and I know that was an IKEA bed. I wish they would just put a little bit more effort into the decor and the mattress and pillows.

Our stay at South River Suites is always pleasant. I have never had a problem with the staff or booking. The area can get noisy since it’s in right next to warehouses and busy roads. I don’t have a problem with it but you might want to look for another area if you’re expecting very quiet mornings. Only thing I would say the property might need to work on (and not even by a lot) is that it hasn’t fully renovated all the rooms. We’ve booked here a handful of times and there were some rooms that were pretty worn down (tiles chipped or furniture is tarnished. But it’s mostly just normal wear and tear). Every room is ALWAYS clean. So that makes up for that. Having a full working kitchen with all cooking utensils in every room is a major plus. Overall, this hotel is one of my top go to’s for affordable, clean and spacious hotel stays.

Room as advertised and booked was supposed to accommodate 3 people however the room had only one queen bed. I had to rent a rollout bed which was very uncomfortable with a thin mattress for an additional $10usd per day.

A great staycation Indeed.

I enjoyed my stay. The Deluxe suite was very spacious and everything worked. The air conditioning was cool and worked all day and night (I love the cold air). The balcony was much larger than I expected - which I loved. I wanted a quiet staycation and that's exactly what I got. The bed, the tv, the lighting... everything was perfect for a solo traveler like myself. The price was perfect as well. Thank you.
