When we arrived the property from the outside and inside was beautiful, clean and well kept. There was plenty of parking which was free. When checking in we got asked if we wanted to leave £50 at the reception but wasn’t told what this was for, even when asked. The room itself was nice and clean and as expected. The shower wasn’t that great but it was manageable. The room got super hot however there was no air conditioning available or a fan from what I could see so that was a slight downfall. The television in the room wasn’t great, whilst it was a smart tv it wasn’t able to be connected to the internet making it useless which was disappointing. Overall was okay but not the best Delta hotel I’ve stayed in and will not likely stay here again

Very Poor

Had 2 rooms booked for my daughter’s birthday this weekend. Arrived after 3 pm on Saturday and was told the rooms weren’t ready despite the check in time being 3. Hotel was an absolute mess, food everywhere, smashed glass outside where the kids were running around and general untidy mess. Yes there was a big group in but there should have been extra staff to accommodate. Finally got to check in at around 4:15. Room was decent size so no complaints there. Headed down for dinner at around 6 to be told that the restaurant is only open for breakfast so we would have to sit in the bar. Food was poor, ordered for the street food selection and was all just Itsu packet food heated up. Only item they had from the kids menu of 6 selections was fish fingers. This was at 6 on a Saturday night so god knows what happened for the rest of the night although the lack of people in the restaraunt probably should have been an indication. Only saving grace were the staff who were serving on the bar who were all really friendly and apologetic. Definitely won’t be coming back.

Not Quite On Brand

You expect an element of homogenised uniformity when it comes to chain hotels, no matter which chain they are and this was no different. Being part of the Marriott group, I was hoping for a more unique feel to the place which hopes were laid to rest once I had entered the room. Everything was there as expected but it felt a little sterile like the bare minimum was yielded as far as effort went. Parking was ample and the staff were courteous and friendly. There were dining options on site and plenty of other ones nearby. I visited the gym which was adequate for my workout needs but not quite the Village brand of gyms. Was not bowled over by the cooked breakfast offering as the ingredients looked quite forlorn. Overall, when comparing to most hotels, this ones comes out quite favourably but with the Marriott branding I'm afraid I expected a lot more.

Take a book internet is poor. Terrestrial channels

They claim to have Netflix at this property it’s not true they do not ! I have complained about this as it’s quite important to have some entertainment as the hotel is fairly remote . Breakfast is very good staff are great . Towels a bit rough . Internet is unacceptably poor. They do not have the usual Marriott digital channels for the price not good in this respect but I do like the hotel and its staff it’s just ….. boring

We really enjoyed our stay. All very friendly staff. It would have been even better if the restaurant was a bit warmer. The TV in our room was a Smart Samsung but with no features of a smart TV. Only very limited tv stations and no TV guide and the screen mirroring did not work
