"No Refund Policy" Rip-Off!

We booked this Hotel Room through Hotels.com in February 2025 for October Travel. Our Son noted that Miramar and Miramar Beach are 9-10 hours (driving) apart in Florida. We then attempted (FEB/MAR) through Hotels.com to simply transfer the reservation to another Tru By Hilton in Fort Walton, FL, 15 minutes (driving) from our 3-day Music Concert venue in Miramar Beach. Hotels.com replied to us that Tru By Hilton Miramar (Miami) was standing absolutely firm on their "No Refunds Policy". This unyielding policy is ridiculous, seeing this was still 7-8 months in advance of the reservation date. Living in Colorado, I booked the Hotel thinking that Florida cities and beaches would be connected and/or adjoining which was not so in this case. Tru by Hilton essentially stole almost six hundred dollars from us because of this scheduling error. We will never stay at a Hilton Hotel again! Our 3-day stay at Comfort Inn totaled three hundred dollars and was exceptional!
