Villa Sara, a veranda facing the sea (with air conditioning and pellet stove).

A place of sea, sun and nature to 300 m from the town square and promenade views.
But the almost unique advantage of the house is the large and air-conditioned veranda (40 sqm) facing south with sea views and enclosed on three sides with large sliding windows, ideal for enjoying the sea and the sun all day in any weather and at any season, "shade in the summer, the winter sun."
It is not the usual roof open and exposed to the wind and the cold of winter: for this is also available in monthly rent to retired couples who want to escape the rigors of the northern regions, however, the whole house is air-conditioned for hot and cold.
Veranda of 40 square meters on the back (closed grate) with washing machine, sink, chest, wardrobe, mirror and barbecue: comfortable place for bikes and scooters.
Water system with water pressure and hot water immediately and without limits by gas water heater, there is also a cistern as a water reserve.
Outdoor shower with hot water.
Adults and children can swim in the sea in front of the house (low rocky beach) or in two sandy beaches are to the east and west, about 800 m.
Vineyard and fruit trees (lemons, mulberries, figs, etc.) create a simple and bucolic, but in contact with the sea.
The sum of money indicated in the price quotation includes everything ,except electricity: € 0.40 / Kw, to pay at the end of the stay.
Stay tax only for people over 14 years old : 2 euros/day for a maximum of 7 days.

Дом лучше чем на фото.Огромная терасса, откуда можно наслаждться шикарным видом на море и сад.Дом чистый, есть все необходимое и даже больше!Джорджио, прекрасный хозяин, такого гостеприимства нигде не встречали! An amazing property and host

The house is better than the photos portray. It is quiet, feels almost rural, and is within an easy walk to the town square. The garden looks out over the sea across a mini vineyard and beautiful tropical plants. We spent so much time in the southern 'conservatory' where we could enjoy the view and stay cool - even though it was early September when we were there. Giorgio, the host, was really friendly and responsive to any questions or needs whilst we were there. He left us an amazing welcome food pack including pasta, sauces, cheese, pastries, and bottled water. We were able to relax and soak up the sunshine, swim in the sea at the end of the garden, in addition to taking trips out across the South East of Sicily to see local towns and eat far too much fantastic food. We hope to be back again next year and would recommend Villa Sara to anyone who wants a relaxing holiday.

A Sicilian Gem

Villa Sara is a wonderfully positioned holiday home - right by the stunning coasline of South East Sicily. The property is really clean and comfortable and Giorgio communicates really well.He is very proud of fresh Sicilian food and generously provided us with supplies and treats that lasted all week. There is a local store nearby and a supermarket 3km away. We made use of the cycles and Giorgio provided helmets for us. There are several cycle routes in the area. We spent 8 days at Villa Sara and another 4 days at a guest house in Noto. We explored the stunning baroque towns, nature reserves (lots of flamingos) and the wonderful gorges inland. The spring weather was excellent for walking. There is lots of helpful information in the accomodation and Giorgio lives nearby so is easily able to deal with any issues that arise. Thank you for your hospitality.

The most idyllic seaside hideaway and the most brilliant host!

My husband and I recently stayed in Villa Sara for eight nights. It was like going to stay in the seaside holiday home of your favourite uncle, where everything had been thought of to ensure you had a wonderful stay. Giorgio, our host, is the most delightful and kind gentleman. As previous reviewers have noted, Giorgio stocked the house with home made goodies and local specialities, all of which were delicious and lasted our entire stay! He also met us in Modica and very kindly took us to a local food market and explained what everything was, followed by a whistle stop tour of Modica’s baroque highlights. He couldn’t have been more generous with his time. The house itself is situated right on a quiet rocky beach, which is fine for swimming from, but bring swimming shoes of some sort. ‘Holes’ have been made in the rocks to put beach umbrellas in, enabling quite day’s hanging out by the house. If you turn left or right out of the house, within 5 minutes in either direction you are at long, fine sand beaches. These were practically empty when we were there. Marina di Modica (the turn left five minutes walk option) has everything you need with a few restaurants, gelataria, coffee stops, a couple of bars and a small supermarket. A larger supermarket is a five minute drive away. The house is also the perfect base for exploring Sicily’s baroque heritage with Modica, Ragusa, Noto and Syracusa all within easy reach. We had a very comfortable and peaceful holiday and highly recommend both Giorgio and his lovely house by the sea.

Superb stay

Giorgio was a brilliant host. The welcome pack was out of this world and he went out of his way to make us feel welcome. The house is in a stunning location and just a short walk to beautiful sandy beaches, restaurants and local bars. We enjoyed the countryside on the bikes - the dedicated cycle paths make cycling so much safer and fun. We even discovered we were only 5mins from the brickwork featured in Montalbalno! Would thoroughly recommend. Thank you Giorgio 👍

This was the perfect holiday home

We were here for 2 weeks, it was a lovely base for looking around the southeastern corner of Sicily. We loved the view and sound of the sea from the house and the swimming was fabulous Giorgio was an excellent host, he provided a lot of fresh, local foods for us, we didn’t need to shop for a couple of days, and he was on hand if there were any problems - there weren’t any. The house was immaculate, so comfortable and it had everything we needed, it really was better than the photos so you will not be disappointed We would definitely go back, we really had the best holiday in this home Thank you Giorgio

A very special experience.

The villa is ideally situated to relax by the sea and to explore SE Sicily. There is plenty of room for a couple or a family of four. Giorgio is the most exceptional host; he not only wants you to enjoy your stay by the sea but he is very keen for you to experience the best food that Sicily offers. I have never seen a 'welcome pack' like it! A vast array of fruit, vegetables, local delicacies, oil, vinegar, cheeses and wine - we really struggled to eat it all during our week. The highlights were Giorgio's home made orange jam and local Modica chocolate. The villa is set up with everything you could ask for and is 5 minutes walk from the beach in Marina di Modica and 15 minutes walk from the superb Sampieri beach. Bicycles are included in the let. Our days out included Modica, Ragusa Ilba, Noto and Siracusa - the roads are not perfect nor is the driving of the locals but these places are all worth a visit.

Das Haus war wunderbar. Vorallem die Veranda war herrlich. Geräumig mit unverstelltem Blick auf das Meer. Abends, wenn es kühl wurde, konnte man den Pelletofen anwerfen und es war gleich mollig warm. Die Küche war perfekt ausgestattet. Es fehlte uns an nichts!! Und der Hausherr war total freundlich und fürsorglich!! Es ist ein Haus zum Wohlfühlen und Entspannen!! Danke dafür!!

Aus unserer Sicht gibt es nichts hinzuzufügen.Das Haus und seine Lage sind optimal für einen Urlaub am Strand und für Besuche der wunderschönen Barockstädte in der Umgebung (Modica, Ragusa, Noto, Scicli, Syrakusa).Giorgio ist ein sehr freundlicher und aufmerksamer Gastgeber, der uns herzlich in seinem Haus aufgenommen und mit allen Informationen und ein paar Köstlichkeiten versorgt hat.Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Sizilien an Ostern

Hat die Erwartungen noch übertroffen!Wir suchten nach erholsamen warmen Osterferien, planten mit Mietwagen ab Airport Catania, um unabhängig und frei nach unserem Befinden die Insel erkunden zu können. Giogio hat sich schon zur Anreise gemeldet und höflich Navigationshilfe vom Flughafen zur Feriendestination angeboten. Das Haus entspricht mehr als der beschriebenen Ausstattung! Es ist sehr sauber, enthält sogar Mückenschutz, Schuhputzutensil, eine plitzsaubere Waschmaschine, Bügelstation, die Küche ist ebenso vollständig(!) ausgestattet. Sogar Gewürze standen parat...Giorgio nimmt sich Zeit, zur Anreise alles zu erklären( nebst Orte zum Sightseeing.Er liebt seine Insel und gibt dies authentisch weiter! Seine Gastfreundschaft mündet in Geschenken lokaler Spezialitäten, Empfehlungen zu lokalen Festivitäten, zum Shopping und in der Präsentation seines Weines Nero d'Avila, aus Trauben seines Weinfeldes neben dem Ferienhaus Sara.Alles angenehm unaufdringlich und ehrlich! Die Lage ist wie beschrieben...unmittelbar an einem Vulkansteinigem Strand,.. westlich ca. 10 min zu Fuss nach einer alten Ziegelfabrik befindet sich ein herrlicher Dünenstrand....wir waren fast allein da.Nach dem Sonnenuntergang war nur noch das Meeresrauschen zu hören, also Erholung garantiert! Störende Mücken können durch gängige topische Gifte oder viiiel Knoblauch in Schach gehslten werden. Kurz:herrlich entspannt, super ausgestattet(sogar Schuhputz u d)

Ruhiger Standort direkt am Meer

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt, sehr netter und hilfsbereiter Vermieter. Das Haus ist einfach, hat aber alles was man braucht. Schön ist vor allem die Veranda mit Blick auf das Meer. Auto unbedingt erforderlich.

My son and I had a fantastic week here. The house is perfectly equipped and the large veranda overlooking the waves was pleasantly warm during the day, even in February. Giorgio is the best host imaginable. If it were possible, I would instantly give him more than 10 when rating Villa Sara.

Wunderbarer Urlaub

Es ist schon so viel Gutes über das Objekt und Giorgio geschrieben worden. Wir können dies alles nur bestätigen. Es ist ein Objekt in traumhafter Lage, ruhig und doch nahe an allen notwendigen Einrichtungen. Absolute Ruhe, nur das Meer... Traumhafte Sonnenuntergänge mit Sundowner am Strand... Urlaub, wie er besser nicht geht! Das Haus selbst ist perfekt, sehr sauber, mit allem Notwendigen und noch ein bisschen mehr ausgestattet.Die Küche lässt auch für den ambitionierten Hobbykoch keine Wünsche offen. Giorgio ist ein sehr gastfreundlicher Vermieter, dem das Wohlergehen seiner Gäste am Herzen liegt. Schon im Vorfeld bekamen wir Informationen zur Anreise, am Anreisetag wurden wir sehr nett empfangen und bekamen eine umfassende Erklärung des Hauses. Sizilianische Spezialitäten und eine gute Auswahl an Lebensmitteln machten diesen Urlaubsstart zu etwas Besonderem! Wir waren zwar zum ersten Mal ,aber ganz sicher nicht zum letzten Mal da! Giorgio, mille grazie per tutto e il bel tempo!

Une maison de bord de mer parfaite

Perfekter Urlaub

Girgio hat uns eine sehr suveräne Übergabe zu seinem Ferienhaus gemacht, so dass wir uns sehr schnell eingewöhnen und den Urlaub von Anfang an genießen konnten. So ein perfekt ausgestattetes Ferienhaus mit einem traumhaften Blick aufs Meer hatten wir noch nie und wir machen seit Jahren Urlaub in Ferienwohnungen. Giorgio hat uns zusätzlich mit seinem reichhaltigen Angebot an Lebenmitteln und frischem selbstgeernteten Obst sehr verwöhhnt. Sollten wir wieder in dieser Gegend Urlaub machen, ist unsere erste Anlaufstelle die Villa Sara. Vielen Dank Giorgio und eine schnelle Genesung nach Deiner Operation.

Toller Aufenthalt direkt am einsamen Strand

Ein Weinberg im Garten, Wintergarten mit Meeresblick, ein wirklich netter Vermieter, dieser Urlaub war gelungen! Im März hatten wir bereits bis zu 20° C, den Vulkanstein-Strand direkt vor der Tür und reichlich interessante Destinationen in der Umgebung. Das Highlight des Hauses ist uneingeschränkt der Wintergarten mit Meeresblick. Das Haus ist außerdem Tiptop ausgerüstet, mit allem was man brauchen könnte. Giorgio ist ein aufmerksamer Gastgeber, der uns einige gute Tipps gegeben hat. Vom italienischen Supermarkt in der Nähe, über den Bäcker im Hinterhof bis hin zu einem Fischgeschäft mit Fang frischem Fisch.

Very pleasant stay at a great location

The apartment is spacious, quiet and fully equipped with comfortable furniture, kitchen supplies and good bedding. It is perfectly located by the sea with two beautiful beaches in the immediate neighborhood. The host Giorgio was very accomodating and attentive. He provided us with important information (where to shop for groceries/where to eat). He even prepared some local delicacies for us to eat. Yummy! The nine days my wife and me spent in Marina di Monica just flew by. We highly recommend this location.

lovely stay in winter time

We had a great time in Sicily. Giorgio already provided local foods (loved the orange marmelade!) and was helpful during the stay. The view is awesome and the small village very close even on foot. Guests should be aware though, that the price and expenses are not as mentioned (at least on fewo-direkt.de), so we had to pay more than indicated. Not much, but would be great to know before. Still we highly recommend the place

è stato un soggiorno magnifico sotto ogni punto di vista. location incantevole ed accogliente. tutto perfetto. Giorgio molto disponibile sempre attento a dare consigli e ci ha fatto trovare delle biciclette per tutti e 4 ed addirittura in casa delle prelibatezze uniche del posto. da consigliare e certamente ci ritorneremo. provare per credere!

Schöner Aufenthalt

Der Aufenthalt und Kontakt mit dem Eigentümer war in jeder Hinsicht angenehm. Wenn es überhaupt etwas gibt, was uns Sorgen machte, dann war es der Einbruch im Nachbarhaus kurz vor unserer Abreise, da sich viele der Verandafenster unseres Hauses nicht verschließen ließen. Aber wir warens ehr zufrieden, danke.

Unterkunft und Vermieter absolut top

Wir waren im Juli 2023 in der Villa Sara, bei Giorgio. Die Kommunikation war schon im Vorfeld sehr gut. So schickte uns Giorgio eine Beschreibung der Wegstrecke von Catania nach Marina di Modica und hatte auch noch für meine beiden Mädels Fahrräder bereitgestellt (mit Vorabfoto). Die Unterkunft ist für einen Urlaub am Meer perfekt ausgestattet. Selbst die hohen Temperaturen von teilweise über 40 Grad Celsius konnten uns ob der überall vorhandenen Aircondition nichts ausmachen. Sonnenschirme und Klappsitze für den Strand waren ebenfalls vorhanden und am Steinstrand, direkt vor dem Haus, sind Schirmhalter fest installiert. Bei unserer Ankunft hatte Giorgio bereits diverse sizilianische Spezialitäten vorbereitet, in der Küche gab es diverse Pasta-Sorten und sogar Krtoffeln + Zweibeln. Getränke waren in ausreichender Anzahl vorhanden, so dass man nicht gleich losfahren musste, um eine "Erstausstattung" vorzunehmen. Giorgio war für uns jederzeit erreichbar und hat uns auch diverse Male weitergeholfen. Ganz besonderes Glück hatten wir, das wir zweimal ohne Probleme den Aufenthalt um jeweils zwei Tage verlängern konnten, nachdem Lufthansa und zweimal kurzfristig die Rückflüge gestichen hatte. Alles in allem eine tolle Zeit und wir werden bestimmt wiederkommen.

Giorgios Unterkunft ist wirklich ausgesprochen sauber. Bei der Ankunft war schon alles vorhanden, was man zum Überleben brauchte und man konnte den ersten Einkauf erstmal entspannt aufschieben. Der Ausblick aus dem Wintergarten ist super. Die Unterkunft liegt direkt am Wasser und zum Strand in Marina di Modica läuft man ca. 10 Minuten an der Promenade entlang. Giogio ist ein super Gastgeber und kümmert sich liebevoll um alles. Wir haben nach der Ankunft zum Beispiel noch zwei Kinderräder und einen ganzen Haufen Sandspielzeug erhalten. Wir haben auf jeden Fall den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Das Haus liegt direkt am Meer und hat einen wunderschönen gepflegten Garten. Vermieter sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und jederzeit erreichbar. Wir haben unsere Ferien sehr genossen. Ein Auto ist in dieser Gegend sehr zu empfehlen.
