This resort use to be called the holiday inn but has changed the name as well as upgraded the hotels areas. I recommend to any family been coming here since 12 years old im now 35 yrs old with 2 kids and my kidsss love it

The property is huge. All the staff are very friendly and helpful, and food is plentiful. Lovely beach, the outside is clean and beautiful. Overall, a beautiful property. Just that the people that clean inside the rooms need to spend a little more time cleaning the rooms and bathroom floors also the outside of the tubs, in between the bathroom tiles, just the little things will make a big difference. But I would definitely stay here again.

This property has SOO MUCH POTENTIAL. It just needs capital/financial backing to do so. The property itself has absolutely stunning views and I do enjoy the open concept across the property. Sadly the buildings are dated and in areas hazardous.The TV's are dated and pixelated. The bathrooms are extremely small/dated. Throughout the bathroom, the room let alone the property you can see the poor maintenance skills with repairs let alone paint jobs. During our stay, they swapped out a refrigeration unit while we were out[don't you think you do that when the room doesn't have anyone checked in?] Electrical outlets broken, loose or not functional in the rooms let alone the property. Dining on the property is extremely challenging. Reservations fill up quickly and there is no wiggle room. So you have to settle to leave the property to eat or dine at their buffet which is absolutely deplorable in set up, functionality and quality. Dining at the restaurants if you managed to get a reservation - is just as poor. If you want to call it italian food, if you want to call it caribbean food go dine upstairs. I promise you, you will be let down. The more frustrating part is - you have staff members resetting a dining room while guests are still there. Literally pulling away linens leaving tables bare. The beverage selections suck! Non name brand products. Not enough drinking vessels and poorly washed reusable cups. Beach/pool doesn't have enough umbrellas. The staff is extremely nice!

I loved my stay at Catalonia for alittle girls trip . Everyone was super nice and welcoming ☺️This was my first time in Jamaica, and i found the people absolutely amazing . For the most part, the service was excellent & The food was good and fresh, and we enjoyed all the different options. Our room was always clean and the resort always felt clean as well. Will definitely return in the near future !

This resort has tons of seaweed and the ocean was only up to your ankles. You can’t swim in the ocean at all. Very dissapointing! The pool was also dirty, rooms outdated, air conditioning not working properly. I would never stay at this resort again
