From the moment I got to the hotel, I was met with five-star service. I’m a content creator so I started to get footage of the front entrance. The gentleman at the door kindly asked if I’d like him to take footage of me walking in, which I accepted. He even knew to wipe the lens first, which we laughed about. Or was a Friday evening, so I did have to wait in line nearly 10 minutes, but it was to be expected. And I recognized that they treated every guest special by giving them undivided attention. I got the same. I did request a record player and was told that they’d check off there was availability and bring it to my room off there was. Sure enough, I hit the town for about an hour and came back to the record player and the r&b records I had requested. The room was very clean. The decor was very nice. The record player returned the hotel room into an experience. I hadn’t even seen one in decades, so to be able to use was again was beautifully nostalgic. I did make a few more requests, and each time, I was serviced within 10 minutes. And the person on the phone was always polite and used my name. I didn’t have time to dibs in, but I appreciated that they had given me a $20 room credit. And I did go eat at the Hard Rock Cafe and was pleased to see a 25% off coupon in my room. I had a great chat with three gentlemen at the door before I left. I say all this to say, I found my new go-to hotel when I’m in town. Kudos to the entire staff!

My wife and I stayed her for a birthday trip. We were generally impressed with the hotel. The reason for 3 stars was a strange banging noise that happened through the day and night. It was random enough that we didn’t think to complain. Until our last night when it started shaking the room each time. Bit disappointing

The property, location and staff were great. Times Square itself though has regressed. During the 70’s and 80’s it was very bad but by the 90’s and 2000’s it was good. It is definitely trending back towards those nasty days. More drug addicts passed out on the streets, more trash, and a little less safe feel to it. Still very worthwhile, but I hope the trend doesn’t continue.

Rooms were a bit smaller than we expected, but that is NYC for you. Difficult finding taxis up front because the side street that the hotel is located on has difficult access for thru traffic. Hotel was clean and door staff was very friendly.
