The room was great and staff was accommodating but the overall experience with the hotel was really sketchy, a lot of girls coming in and out, there was a person blasting music at like 2am and the whole highway smelled like weed during that time (it was supposed to be a smoke free hotel), we also saw a crime investigator coming into the property taking pictures and my friend saw a possible stain of blood when construction workers were working on a bathroom tile. Would not stay again for these reasons.

During our stay at the King Hotel, a pipe leak near the bathroom caused water to spread across the floor, which led to my wife slipping and falling. When she tried to steady herself, the bathroom barn door— which was not properly secured at the bottom and came off its track, making the fall even worse. We immediately went to the front desk, but the attendant offered no real assistance. He couldn’t provide an incident report and told us we would need to wait several hours for a manager. We ended up writing our own statement on a scrap of paper and had the employee sign it, all while recording the process on video for proof. This experience was extremely unprofessional. The hotel took no responsibility for the situation and couldn’t even provide a proper incident report. Be cautious… your stay here is truly at your own risk.

Overall a good experience. Hotel was in a prime location to access the Queen Mary 2 and other cruise ships. Also a good location to access New York subway and transit system.

The only thing that I wasn’t aware is that they do NOT accept Apple Pay, and you have present credit card or manual card ONLY for a deposit of 4.65, if it’s cash it has to be 100$ fee , good thing is they had security, everything outside of it was ehh but other than that the stay was very pleasant and normal no issues at all

horrible staff extremely disrespectful and unaware of the guests booking. tried to kick out guests a day early saying they didn’t pay for the room and challenged booking when made by expedia with true check out dates. calling expedia to discuss refunds. do not waste your money here
