There are a lot of things that aren’t working properly in the apartment and to be honest the listing was a little misleading when it came to the amenities provided. When we arrived it took a long time to get into our room bc the lock was broken, the ac was loud and kept us up as did the broken curtain rod in the room that let light in at 6am. We had no hot water and when it was repaired it made the toilet water hot… strange… none of the drains drain well, and the bathtub just doesn’t work. You can’t plug it, it’s unusable and it was painted over and has a grit too it… the sheets and towels were clean but we had no toilet paper and the room was full of ants. It also didn’t mention it being up an additional flight or stairs or that the laundry is paid and shared with the rest of the tenants. The host was unresponsive and didn’t clearly read my messages properly as they send fixes for this that didn’t need fixing (a new shower curtain instead of living room one so we could sleep, no response about AC or water). The assistants I was able to talk to were kind but similarly seemed confused bc the owner clearly has a lot of properties so they frequently didn’t understand the issues we had. The area was great and our neighbors were nice and I get that it’s nyc but it’s just not at all up to par with what was listed. One of the windows has a bullet hole in it 8/ like you could at least fix his window I know it’s the city but it looks bad bro.
