Perfect for first night in NYC. My teenager and I shared room with queen and bunk bed. Rooms are compact. Bathroom is shower and toilet with frosted glass. No separate private area. If you are modest prob not the best choice but completely suited our needs. You don’t go to NYC to live inside a hotel room. Staff and services great. Walkable to everything.

This hotel is conveniently located at times square. If it’s your first time or simply want to be close to everything, definitely book this hotel. Little a few steps away from times square, a block away from Radio City, and very close to central park. The staff were sooo accommodating and friendly. There is a $30 a night destination fee which is quite reasonable since you get daily supply of bottled water, day pass to crunch fitness and bike pass as well. The only issue I had was there’s no closet and you have steamer instead of Iron. Other than that, a great hotel to stay.

Room is stylish and modern, has that artistic feel. Photos are deceiving of the actual room size though so beware. Clean, livable, ideal for a couple, in hindsight I wouldn't recommend for families. Didn't eat here for a meal but had oysters at the bar, fresh and tasty. Bar, was well stocked and ok priced for Manhatten. Bar staff nice and talkative, but at times concentrating on friends than customers. Be aware of the resort charge, is what it is and if you use wisely i.e. for drinks or food etc then it's ok but still $35 per day for two bottle of water and access to a gym. Would stay again, but only if I wasnt able to stay in my regular NYC hotels. Worth a punt, not much to grumble about at all.

Wow!

Our stay was only a night, but we absolutely enjoyed it! Check in was smooth, the rooms were clean and neat, and we had an overall great experience. This Hilton hotel made us feel like the Hilton members we are. Will definitely be staying again.

I primarily booked with Motto in Times Square obviously for the convenience to get to subways, shopping, and restaurants nearby. I booked a 1 Queen bedroom with a city view. When I checked in, I looked at the fridge and it was pretty gross. There look to be a brown, slimey substance, like bacteria build up in the mini fridge. I was already exhausted from the travelling, and was awake for over 24 hours, and I just cleaned it myself, cause I just wanted to go to bed. But overall, I was disgusted by that and it gave me a bad impression of the cleanliness of the hotel. I did inform the front desk of this, and emailed the address they had provided to give my feedback and also photos I took of the fridge as reference, but still have not gotten any acknowledgement as of today. Housekeeping varies when it comes to completion: Sometimes, it’ll be done by 12, 2pm or 5pm. But I would find the floors still dirty/ dusty, but everything else done. I did have to tell the front desk as well that there was no more tissue and the body wash (labelled hand soap, so I’m assuming it’s for hands…) was empty. Housekeeping did end up rectifying that issue. One other con is having a room with doors that join with other suites/ rooms. I could hear my neighbours as if they were in the same room, or it was so loud it seemed like they were in the hallway. So there is no proper soundproofing. I could even hear their alarms and when they were snoring which isn’t good for someone that is a light sleeper
