An Unexpected Surprise

Upon my arrival I went to my room the entire hallway smelled of cigarettes. The room was pretty nice. I used the restroom and the toilet wouldn't flush. I went to ask if I could change rooms and I was told no. The next day I was going out to celebrate my birthday. I used the restroom again, and the toilet not only wouldn't flush, but filled. up to the point of overflowing. I got dressed and went to the front desk and asked if they could take care of the bathroom. The clerk said he could give me a plunger. I told him that I told him about the bathroom yesterday and I don't work for the hotel. I gave him permission to enter my room while I was out. When I returned at 6 AM the room reeked of waste. I went to the front desk and explained the situation. They sent someone to drain the toilet and clean it. He did a horrible job at cleaning the toilet and the room still smelled. So I just left and drove home

No tv remote. Big hole in wall by tv. Tv was tiny. Couldn’t use it anyway. Cold in the room. Stayed in two different rooms. One was nice on a high floor. Other one was ground floor which was uncomfortable.

If you are looking for just a quick hotel to do a quickie lol this is the place, not a place for family members to stay, moms grandparents. I reserved a room paid in full for my mom and stepdad,during check in they gave her a hard time saying that she owes money and theres a balance. I later had to come down to get it resolved by showing them the actual receipt even though my mom showed and gave them the information. Bring your own soap as you can get can get allergic reaction the soap they have. The hallways are extremely dirty. On the up side The room size is decent size and balcony is nice. Has a microwave. Bathroom is decent. Great spot for just a hook up.

It’s a fine place.

Would say that this is a fine place to stay. Room was small but fine. Balcony but nothing to sit on. The room was not swept well so some debris on the floor which was also true of the halls. The mice traps around the hallways also didn’t set a great tone. I think they are just opening so time will tell.

Nova is Spanish for "NO GO"

lots of mechanical noise from air handling equipment. bottom sheet on bed had stain-staff replaced sheets..TV remote did not work.

Our stay at Nova Hotel was pretty good! The staff were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Brooklyn and New York City area as the subway was walking distance.

Comfy stay

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel it was very comfortable when I wanted to stay in the room again for two more nights it wasn't difficult to get the staff was averagely friendly my room was very clean and my floor had noise but it wasn't something I couldn't deal with so all in all it was a good day and around the time I went it was a good price my only pet peeve was that the bathroom shower door did not close and sharing the balcony
