We enjoyed our room. It was good size for NYC. The bedding and pillows was comfortable. The shower has nice water pressure. I love the little makeup area. The location was pretty close to all of dinning area. A few complaints was the house keeper kept throwing away my sample product that I was using. I didn’t wan to bring a full size so I had sample stuff for my trip and I end up having to buy some because they throw out all of my samples every day. My other complaint was there is not much of concierge service or hospitality at check in. We book spa treatments massages and they mess up on our appointments.

The hotel is in a great location. Close to restaurants and attractions. Easy to get to anywhere. We arrived around 2:30 and we were able to check in and paid a small fee for an upgrade to a higher floor. The room wasn’t ready so we went to the third floor for some food. The restaurant was good (crispy potatoes on brunch menu was delicious). We went down and the room was doing a final inspection and took another 15 minutes. That staff were super nice and gave us a room credit for the inconvenience and waived the upgrade fee. The room was clean and view was amazing. We could see the Empire State and the Edge. It was reasonably quiet on the 24th floor and the windows could be cracked open for some fresh air. We got a room with two beds the’refull size but seemed small. It’s Manhattan so as expected things were tight but with the floor to ceiling windows it felt more spacious. The bathroom is kind of an open bathroom located between the entrance and the beds. Sinks were in the hall way with a frosted glass door for the shower and a frosted glass door for the toilet. The sinks were not well planned. The faucets come out of the wall but they don’t reach the center of the bowl for the sink. So you can’t really get your hands under the faucet easily. The shower was big had a handheld head that was low on its mount and a rainfall with plenty of hot water. Beds were comfy but pillows were not. Ice machine didn’t work so we had it delivered. Overall great stay and would recommend.
