The lovely fruit/vegetable and fish market in the Liberation area, which is open every morning, is a 15-minute walk away. The train station, Gare de Nice Ville, is also very close, just under 10 minutes on foot. From here you can easily go on to other villages along the coast on the Riviera, such as Ville-franche-sur-mer, Monaco, Cannes, or even the Italian Riviera.
