Great location. Perfect for biking. Kayak and paddle board launch within walking distance. New floors, paint throughout, new custom blinds, updated kitchen and bathrooms, open floor plan and new tropical oasis landscaping. Lanai and screened porch add to charm. Outside is a beautiful, fenced patio, complete with shade sail and party lights, created for privacy. Outdoor shower for convenience. Beach chairs and umbrella available to guests of the property upon request.

First time using Vrbo. I was impressed with the communication system with the owner. Owner gave us precise instructions how to work the electronic lock, amenities available. The house was very cleaned & well decorated beach theme. Well stocked condiments, laundry detergent, coffee, etc. House has access to nearby Tamiami blvd near restaurants, neighborhood is quiet. People are nice & friendly. House has beach towels, chairs, pull cart, 2 bikes to use for free! Owner had more informational brochures for activities around the area. My wife & I would return with friends in the future.

Perfect Experience. A credit to VRBO! Excellent comms. Beautifully appointed and elegantly presented 'home-away-from-home'. Great location.... 20 mins walk to Nokomis Beach and 10 mins walk to Publix and Aldi. Conveniently located near Tamiami Trail with good access to I-75. Will definitely be back again as soon as circumstances allow. ThankYOU!

Perfect home for a week

One of best VRBO’s we’ve stayed at. The home had everything we’d need, was sparkling clean and sooo comfortable, inside and out. It really felt like home. And the hosts left good restaurant recommendations.

Sweet Florida Bungalow

We had to find a place close to where my mom was staying with her spouse. He was just released from the hospital from a very unfortunate long hospital stay. A last minute trip to Florida to assist her and see him was necessary and thankfully we found this. Communication was very good and always prompt. Extremely accommodating as we had to extend our stay 3 times. This little bungalow was very nice and had all necessary things to make things very easy for us in a very difficult time. Location is great too! Close to the beach, restaurants and grocery.

Cozy, old style, single family Florida home.

Home is decorated with an eye for detail. Lots of colorful Florida style artwork as well as both useful and decorative lighting. Everything we needed for our six day stay was well stocked. The house was spotlessly clean. Comfortable king size bed with crisp white sheets in primary bedroom. White bath towels also showed cleanliness. Wi-Fi was easy to access and reliable. Hosts, Richard & Lisa, were pleasantly available for questions and easy to work with. We chose this location, for the second year in a row, because of its proximity to a family reunion; but it's also so close to a great family run breakfast diner, cool sunset restaurants, a fantastic family run Italian catering/restaurant and the beach is just a hop, skip and a jump away.

Enjoyed every moment! Great location!

This was the perfect size for our family of 4 adults. The house was well equipped, clean, and nicely updated. The owner was extremely responsive, helpful, and communicative. The location truly cannot be beat- west of Tamiami trail and super easy & quick to get to the beach! Thanks Richard and Lisa, we loved our stay!

This house is exactly as listed. Very nicely decorated and clean. The location is good, close to everything by car. We had a question and the owner responded quickly. Would recommend it to friends and would stay here again.

6 night stay

In person, this property looks exactly as it does in the listing images (with the exception of an added propane grill & shade sail in the private outdoor area - which was nice). Communication with the hosts, Richard & Lisa, was very reliable. They replied within minutes for inquires prior to booking and throughout our stay. We really appreciated the 'usability' of this property. The WiFi and cable TV, with music channels, in both the living room & primary bedroom. The kitchen is well stocked should you wish to prepare your own meals (including utensils suitable for the grill). There was ample paper products, liquid hand soap @ every basin, laundry soap, dishwasher soap, tin foil, plastic wrap, dish towels, etc - the kind of stuff you might only need a little bit of but don't feel like shopping for while on vacation is always appreciated. We enjoyed the vibe of 'old Florida' style furnishings & decor. The only reason we didn't rate a full five stars in every category was because of the air conditioning.. an efficient central air unit is an absolute must for indoor comfort in the heat of south Florida.

Everything was very clean, plenty of space for a family get together. Close and very easy to get to the beach. Beautiful outdoor seating with nice outdoor shower to rinse off after the beach, and also has a large screened in lanai seating area as well. Having a Wawa & a Publix close by was nice and convenient as well :)

Great rental!

The property was exactly as listed - a perfect beach cottage with everything we needed and plenty of places to relax. In addition to the comfortable living room, there was a separate sitting room, screened in porch, and very private back yard. Everything was very clean, great neighborhood for walking, quick drive over the bridge to Nokomis beach, quick drive to grocery store and many restaurants. Lisa was very responsive. Look forward to staying here again!

Great week in Nokomis!

The house was just updated and in excellent shape. We had all of the conveniences of home including great TV and WIFI. Comfortable furniture and a fun yard to enjoy the sun. Outstanding location in a quaint neighborhood that was a joy to go for a walk. But is also close to main streets and highways to go out for a day trip. Really enjoyed our stay in Nokomis!
