Your group will love sunning themselves out on the suite's private balcony while enjoying a delightful al-fresco meal with scores of swimmers playing on the beaches just beyond. Inside, the home is open and welcoming, with happy decor and lots of comfortable furniture throughout, plus a full kitchen equipped with enough appliances, cookware, and counter space to make your next meal a joy to prepare. After dinner, use the free WiFi to download a good album or playlist to your device then head out for a leisurely evening walk along the pounding surf. Wrap up a night with a good movie on the flatscreen TV while munching on some hot microwave popcorn.

You'll have plenty of great restaurants nearby whenever you want to grab a bite to eat. Check out Flying Fish Public Market & Grill, The Whole Food Mediterranean Grill, and Rockefellers Raw Bar to sample some delicious local fare. Children’s Activities - This program is available at Carolinian Beach Resort, Patricia Grand, and Bay Watch each summer from mid-June through mid-August. Activities include shark tooth hunts, crafts, pool games, and more!

Snowbird Activities - This program is available at Carolinian Beach Resort, Patricia Grand, and Bay Watch each winter from early January through mid-March. These activities build on the snowbird community we have each winter. Activities include card games, crafts, bingo, field trips, Waffle Wednesday meet-n-greets, and more!

DVD Rentals - Each property is equipped with one or more rental boxes. Guests enjoy free blockbuster rentals during their stay.

Bay Watch has 18 bodies of water including indoor and outdoor lazy rivers. Sandtrap Sports Bar is a guest favorite, open daily. Fishtails is a seasonal pool bar featuring fun cocktails and live entertainment during the warmest seasons. There is also a gift shop selling trinkets and forgotten items to make your trip complete.

Great location and direct access to the beach

The Good: The location of this two-bedroom condo is absolutely unbeatable. Having direct beach access was fantastic and definitely the highlight of our stay. The master bedroom was in good condition and offered a nice view of the deck, making it a pleasant space to relax. The Not-So-Good: Unfortunately, several issues significantly impacted our experience. The second bedroom was problematic - it felt uncomfortably dark and humid throughout our stay. The bedsheets had a damp feeling that never seemed to go away, and there was a persistent musty odor in the room. Clothes wouldn't air-dry properly, which was frustrating for a beach vacation. The air conditioning unit is clearly showing its age. It was quite noisy and struggled to maintain comfortable temperatures, particularly in the humid second bedroom. In the kitchen, we found a dishwasher with a "DO NOT USE" sign, though no explanation was provided. For the nightly rate we paid, having basic appliances out of commission was disappointing. Bottom Line: At approximately $400 per night (including taxes and fees), our expectations were higher. While the beach access and master bedroom were great, the humidity issues, problematic second bedroom, and aging amenities detracted from the overall experience. The stay was okay, but we likely won't return to this particular property. Would I recommend? Only if you're primarily focused on the beach location and plan to spend minimal time in the second bedroom.

Dirty condos and not what they advertise

The place was filthy, walls had coffee spills on them, doors were gross, chairs were filthy- don’t take your shoes off inside. Only what we assume was someone’s dog went to the bathroom in the stairwell. Someone urinated in the elevator (which has no a/c so you can imagine the smell). Pool deck was dirty, no one every swept or cleaned up morning/night. 4 tubes total for the lazy river, 1 was half deflated. The shower to rinse off didn’t work at tower 3, the steps had old shoes, trash and even socks everywhere all week. Outside bar had entertainment 2 times in 8 days. Bar was half open- like many of the restaurants. Ice cream was half melted both times we went. Hallways are carpet and trash cans are in hall- vacuumed once- food and trash was always in the ground. Bring a cart- they have very few and people take them to there rooms at night- have to use the elevator in the parking garage then the elevator to your room to get in/out (1 elevator broke for half the week- then had panels falling out of ceiling) Not friendly for handicap/elderly. Trash everywhere. No attention to detail in maintaining the property.

Great room 1233# was fantastic comfy, homey, spenty to do to keep busy. For all ages even our toddler. We did visit during a hurricane was outta water and power for a little while but they stay on the issue trying to fix it 👍👍

Yearly golf trip

All the people there , Kelsy, in particular, was very good at sorting through our reservation. We had 18 playing golf . So she helped sort the rooms assignments out for me. She was great and all the staff were accommodating. Older place but still a good place for us to go every year. Thx for being good to us for many years👍👍😎

Updated bathrooms, kitchen appliances and countertops. Ice maker did not work. Spacious master bedroom with en-suite. No sheet pan for baking, no kitchen towel, no face cloths. Very clean overall.

The unit was clean and the upgraded kitchen was nice. There was no wifi and calling for help did not fix the issue. The unit has very dated decor. I'll also note that there was no accessibility assistance stepping in and out of the tub, which is helpful for anyone with mobility issues.

Bay watch resort

Nice resort with many clean pools, hot tubs, and lazy rivers. Easy access to food at the bar downstairs and drinks by the pool. We had a very loud group of college kids next door to us. After complaining security was prompt to go speak to them. After the second night complaint the security gave them their last warning, which I heard myself. We do hope to get better rest in the future. As far as the resort itself it was great! We have already booked our next stay there.

Nice Stay

The hotel over all was nice. Only thing was room service was extremely slow when asking for supplies etc...just go downstairs and get them yourself LOL. Other than that, Myrtle Beach don’t own me nothing.!
