Our first visit for 2 nights January 2026 and we will definitely be back. We had a Venetian king room on the first floor. Loved the room, bed was very comfortable, room was extremely clean and the jacuzzi tub was the perfect way to end our day out in the cold. The only thing I will mention is it’s not very sound proof. We wanted to sleep in on Saturday and that wasn’t happening. You could hear them vacuuming and cleaning the room above us. Staff was extra nice, to a of parking and the pool was also in nice area. It was definitely heated but don’t expect it to be “hot”. But nice to be able to go for a dip in January Foxwoods is a minute drive down the street which was convenient and lots of restaurants nearby

I booked my stay through Expedia to check in on Jan. 17 and check out on Jan. 18. On the late evening on Jan. 13 I checked my reservation information through the Expedia App. and was offered an upgrade to a room with (2) Queen size beds. I accepted the upgrade to my current reservation and paid the additional money. I received a confirmation email from Expedia and immediately noticed it did not upgrade my current reservation, but created a whole new booking for that evening 1/13. I contacted Expedia right away, who in turn contacted the hotel. After being on hold for 20 minutes with Expedia representative, they advised they needed to speak to the hotel manager the following morning to get an approval from the hotel to refund me my money for the error in creating a new booking. Two days later I received an email from Expedia advising that the hotel decided to uphold the original cancellation policy and declined my waiver request even though it was not my error and immediately contact Expedia and the hotel within 15 mins of attempting the upgrade, I did not check in on the 1/13, and had a reservation booked for 1/17. To me, this was terrible customer service especially since I did have a reservation coming up in the next few days.
