The requested two rooms and they were both on separate floors.. My room smelled like mildew the minute you opened the door and the 2nd room smelled like fish. the beds were alittle uncomfortable. There was a dirty wash cloth in room

Great Stay for the Price

The lobby and rooms were very clean. Front desk very friendly and professional. I’ve started here before, this was my second time and I’ll probably stay here again on my next visit. You cannot beat the price. Also the pool was a nice addition to my stay. The pool was small but very clean.

Very nice, large room. Although check-in was a bit of a challenge as the front desk person told us that the stay was booked through Hotels.com, but it was booked for the next day. That was truly not the case as we always double check before we hit the payment button. Luckily the front desk was able to get us in since “the same room was available”. That feels wrong somehow. She said that it had happened before on that same day to another couple but she couldn’t get them in because the room they’d booked wasn’t available that night, so they just left. This was a non-refundable rate. I think if it hadn’t worked out for us I would have gone up the chain of command until I got resolution. Nice stay for just an overnight.

The room had dirty soiled clothes and wads of long hair in the floor when we checked in. They advertise as being pet friendly but they are not. We were in town for youth world series game and asked for early check in so we could drop off our 2 frenchies before the game. Its too hot outside for them to be out there that long. The hotel informed us if we leave the dogs unattended they will call animal control on us. And that they will enter the room even if we have a do not disturb on the door. This is ridiculous on so many levels. We have always brought our frenchies with us to hotels and never had a problem leaving them in the room for short periods. We couldnt even go to dinner with the rest of the team for fear they would take our dogs. I will NEVER stay at another red roof inn and would not recommend them as a pet friendly option.
