Driftwood Villa - relaxation and tranquility within minutes of the beach

After many beach vacations we have found the spot that exudes relaxation! Driftwood Villa at Edgewater Beach Resort is the place to come for your vacation. Golf course, tranquil fountain and cute turtle views get you in the vacation mood before you even get to the Villa. Then the 2 bed, 2 bathroom Villa is large, bright and homely to make you feel comfortable from the start. There is a gym, tennis courts, shuffleboards, pickleball and golf to play at the Resort. For your enjoyment there is also multiple swimming pools all around the Resort as well as pools beach side. The Villa is a 5 min walk across a footbridge or a 1 min tram ride. Trams come around very often. Driftwood Villa is full service so we have beach towels available, towels, bedding, full kitchen and kitchen utensils. Please note parking is an extra charge depending on number of cars needed. Hope to make memories with you!

We had a great trip! The check-in was smooth and the villa had everything we needed for the beach! The kitchen also had everything we needed to make our own meals and it was great to be able to do laundry while there. Edgewater is an awesome spot with great pools and a beautiful beach.

If you are looking for a place to stay steps away from the convention center and an easy 5 minute walk from the door to having your toys in the water, you will want to stay here! The host provided everything we needed, including a beach wagon, canopy, toys, 5 beach chairs, boogie and skim boards, even large beach towels! The kitchen was extremely well stocked. The villa looks just like the pictures. The host was very quick with communicating.We would stay again!

Wonderful Little Spot

We have been coming to Edgewater Beach Resort for 30 years. This place has been around a long time. It is still the same place I remember and we enjoyed it. The condo is right across from the tennis courts so that was a plus. We couldn't figure out how to get the lights on the second night but it was okay- we played the night before. The condo was clean and very well stocked. They had all the utensils and bowls cups etc. we needed. We had a little issue with the bathroom sink but we figured it out. The stopper wasn't all the way open so it appeared the sink was clogged. We just had to pull on the stopper a little harder to open it up. The closet is full of all the things you need at the beach. 4 chairs - and a cart to carry it all which was a life saver. The walk to the bridge that crosses the road is very close. These were our best weather/beach days of our trip. Thanks and we will be back.

Perfect place for family with kids

We had a great week for the 4th of July. Natasha was a great host and responded promptly. She has everything you need for the beach. The condo was clean, we would love to stay here again next year because it was the best place we have stayed at Edgewater. We have been coming to stay at Edgewater for 10 years now. Thank you so much Natasha for a great experience and new memories with my family.

Great place and feels like home

This may have been one of my favorites ever. Great communication with the owner prior, during and after our stay. The condo is spacious and I felt like we could enjoy it and it’s not overly done so it felt like home. The extras are above and beyond that they provide and make travel easier!! Highly recommend

Great location

Overall this was a positive stay! The location was great. Two minute walk to the beach/pool and next to the convention center. The condo was clean and comfortable. The only suggestion would be the kitchen and carpet is dated and could be updated. Parking was easy and it was a nice place to stay with a family.

Great Space for a Family of 5!

First, the condo is stocked with all of your needs--closet full of beach gear, beach towels, etc. We enjoyed the chairs, wagon, boards, etc. Second, the space was exactly what we needed, and the updated TVs in every room were a plus (plus full cable). The condo was very clean and ready for a wonderful week at the beach. Third, we loved the location as we were able to cross the bridge to the main pool and beach in no time. There is also a nice pool close behind the courts. The only negative we could say about the condo was the ceiling fan in the kids' room didn't work, but a box fan was provided, and it is needed as that room doesn't seem to cool as well as the rest of the house. BUT, that was the only negative. Well, we did wish to enjoy the patio, but the sliding glass doors were permanently shut, but that wasn't a dealbreaker. We loved this condo for us! One other thing to note (as we brought our pickleball stuff from home)--those amenities cost extra (not cheap either). You have to pay to play tennis and pickleball, so we just enjoyed the pools, beach, and bball for free. :) We highly recommend this space and would stay here again!

Great Villa Right Next to the Event Center!

This was perfect for our family. We were going to Edgewater for a military retirement. This location was perfect. Natasha was awesome and even helped me find my IPad when I accidentally left it in the Villa. We found the rugged cart and chairs were very useful as we used them every day we were there. I highly recommend this rental if you are going to Edgewater for a cheer or gymnastics competition as well! You are just as close to the Event Center as the paid parking.

Great place for large family

We traveled to the Edgewater with our family of 6 and this property worked great. Plenty of room for sleeping (kids ages 7, 10, 12, 15). Full kitchen with everything you need to cook. Tons of beach extras in the closet (wagon, chairs, towels, beach tent, sand toys, pickle ball, tennis, golf, football, skim board, boogie boards). The unit isn’t fancy but was perfect for our family. The pools on the villa side of the property were a little run down but the pickle ball court was top notch. The pond behind the unit has lots of turtles and fish my kids caught. The pools across the street by the beach are extremely run down and always were packed with wild college kids. No throwing balls allowed in the pool and no kids activities. Overall the unit was great and was an easy walk to the beach!! The Edgewater needs to be careful though - it wasn’t really suited for kids wanting to swim after dark because of all of the wild college kids with foul mouths.

Perfect vacay spot!

This was the perfect condo in an awesome location. The pond in the backyard is beautiful. My kids enjoyed the turtles and ducks. It was a short walk to the pools. The tennis court is right out the door. It was super clean and nice. The owner is so nice. She is easy to get in touch with. 10/10. We enjoyed our stay!!

Amazing!

The property was amazing! The pond was a great addition for my kids and the view. The parking was nice because it was hidden from other areas and right next to the tennis courts. The unit was very close to the bridge where the trams ran every few minutes. The unit was huge and enough room for the 6 of us. It was so clean and there was an entire closet of things for the kids and the beach. We loved and would definitely stay again.

Great 30 years ago ... and still great.

The Edgewater golf villas are perfect for our needs. We love walking right in .. no riding crowded elevators .... and the trams seem to magically appear right when we needed them ... making it really convenient to go to and from beach.
