We rented the chairs and umbrella (great service separate from the condo)Our unit had a musty smell. But it was relatively clean. The full size bed was kinda small for 2 adults. The location was great for smaller crowd on the beach even with a Holiday weekend. I wouldn’t stay in this exact unit next time because of the full size bed. Prefer a queen or King.

I thought the mattress was really uncomfortable but that was the only complaint I had! In terms of Gulf Gate overall we did have an issue one night where there were no parking spaces, and saw a lot of cars parked without parking passes, so be aware if you go out late. Would definitely stay again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The view was awesome. The quick walk down to the beach several times a day was great. Everyone was courteous and respectful. We spent a lot of time on the balcony when not at the beach. Beach was never crowded and lots of families at condo. Parking was easy and prime location to a lot of restaurants and things to do. I only have three suggestions: (1) a more thorough cleaning of the floors. Our feet were black within minutes of being at the condo (2) cushions for the chairs on balcony, the seats are hard and not tolerable for very long (3) a new mattress. We could feel every spring and woke up sore each day. Other than those few things, the trip was perfect and we would definitely stay again!

Parking was not good, too many cars with little parking. Room right above the pool area and noisy. Would I stay here again, no.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Vacation was great. Love staying at Gulf Gate but the room was ok. Some areas need to be fixed and it needed some deep cleaning on walls in kitchen and bathroom. The bed sucks and all thoes mirrors need to go. It could use a remodel. Also seen roaches in the kitchen area. Will get a different room next year!
