Very clean and Comfortable

This condo checked off all of the important things--it was very clean, had a comfortable bed, good shower water pressure, updated comfortable furniture, big TV, and a well-appointed ktichen for our 2 month stay. The door code we were texted at arrival did not work so we had to call the property manager for a new one. I was a little unnerved by the Ring/camera doorbell at the entrance. I understand and agree with the owners' need & desire to have this feature, but VRBO rules state that it needs to be disclosed in the property description and I could not find this info anywhere in the listing. I mentioned the doorbell concern when I called RealJoy about a maintenance issue. The maintenance issue was handled promptly, but the agent pretty much "blew me off" about the doorbell. Again--I understand why they have it....they need to be upfront about it. It made me wonder and look for other cameras in the unit.

1st time on the Gulf Coast!

We had an amazing vacation! The condo was perfect for the 2 of us. It has easy access to the beach and we like that it was on the 2nd floor. Everything was neat and clean. We would love to stay here again!

Property management has great communication. Flawless and easy check in. Clean pool and condo. Easy to read directions on fridge. Perfect location on quiet side of the beach. All kitchen appliances worked. Loved every minute of our stay.

Great place!

Only way it could’ve been better was if it was top floor beach facing. But you hardly notice. Easy access to private beach. Plenty of near-by attractions and restaurants. 10/10 would stay again.

Very cozy beach place

Very clean and well-decorated place. There is a short walk to the private beach. We didn't have any major issues, but RealJoy was very responsive to a question we had.

Great location, communication was a disappointment.

The property and condo were amazing places to stay. Would suggest it to any family or friends. So glad we stayed further down the. Each from the tourist areas. Unfortunately halfway through our stay the gate code to the beach was changed. I emailed like the directions told me to for any questions. We never received an email in return. I text the check-in number and got a response that they were not aware of any changes. They would contact me as soon as the code was figured out. I never heard from them over the next two days before checking out. Thankfully other vacationers gave us the new code and we were able to enjoy the beach. Communication could of been better.

Dirty Unit

Upon check in, I made several calls to property management regarding housekeeping issues. The toilet was absolutely disgusting. The rim, bowl, seat and outside were covered in filth. Thankfully I had brought cleaning supplies. I scrubbed the inside and outside of the toilet with clorox. I wiped the bathroom floor with a clorox wipe and it was black. The ceiling in the unit has a hole, 2 to 3 feet, cut from the ceiling. It is covered with plastic and stapled. In the center of the plastic is a hole that has plastic wadded up and is hanging down. The sliding glass door doesn't slide properly. I was unable to move it at all, my husband was able to open it about 14 inches or so, enough to slide out sideways. The door screen is cut and hanging loose. The unit's deadbolt has been removed. Overall, very dissatisfied with this unit. More disappointed that I was told on Saturday when I called that a member of management would be contacting me and I never received a call. I emailed pictures, received an apology but never talked to management. I would definitely not stay here again or recommend it to anyone.

Nautical Watch- would give negative stars if possible

We arrived around 11 pm on a Thursday for our vacation in Panama City Beach. In the condo we immediately noticed that the rental property was filthy. There was dust everywhere, the floors were dirty, the couches were stained, there was a large full black trash bag in the master bedroom closet, and the bathroom toilet was not cleaned. It was late and we decided we would address the issues in the morning with the property manager. At this point, with all of the problems and concerns that proper sanitizing was not met we left the condo and went to a hotel for the night. At the hotel we sent an email to the property management company explaining the situation. In the morning, after not receiving any response from the property manager, we started calling them to address the problems with the condo. I met the property manager at the condo and she stated that she had already re-cleaned but I pointed out that most of the issues had not been addressed. We asked to be relocated to another property and offered to even pay the difference to be placed somewhere else. RealJoy property management refused. When we realized that our concerns were not going to be taken care of we began taking pictures and sent all copies to VRBO and RealJoy. After viewing the pictures RealJoy continued to deny that the condo was not clean. In consideration of our health, we made a decision to stay at a hotel for our entire vacation and did not stay at the condo at all. The majority of our vacation was spent going back and forth with RealJoy and VRBO regarding the state of the rental property. It was very disappointing and we will never use any rental unit managed by RealJoy Vacations or any company associated with them ever again.

Amazing Vacation! Cute Beachy Condo

Everything was great in the condo. I bought a bathtub mat cause the shower was slick. All of the kitchen supplies was great . I recommend putting a full size coffee maker and an extra big pot for a shrimp boil. I will definitely stay here again. Very close to everything and the beach. Love not having elevators!
