September 14-19, 2025 Arriving in Paris from the US for a medical conference we experienced an unexpected accident which resulted in a personal injury, a broken foot. Arriving at our motel The Makom Pereire we found staff generally concerned and helpful with our well being. Our only problem was though there was a lift there were 5 steps up to it and I was non weight bearing. The staff helped as to locate a pharmacy and obtain a wheelchair for mobility. Determined to see Paris on this first and most likely only trip the staff was helpful in getting us and the wheelchair out of the motel to awaiting Ubers or Taxi's. On day 2 and 3 it was apparent that we were struggling with the lift and 5 stairs. Staff then tried to get us moved to an entry level room. Carmen sent a picture of my foot and cast to his supervisor and the next day a room was made ready. We believe the young lady cleaning the room was Marissa- though all were extremely helpful. The music to my ear was the words "Madame Moselle your room is ready". God and Makom staff had provided a handicap accessible room where we comfortably completed our stay in Paris. Thank you is not enough to express our sincere thanks. We will certainly recommend Makom to anyone heading to Paris. Robert and Sherry Fox

Really bad experience ! Le check in n'etait pas facile, on s'etait fait dire qu'on pourrait laisser les bagages dans un locker a l'hôtel, alors que la madame qui teavaille la nous a dit qu'il n'y a pas de locker et on peut juste laisser les choses comme ça. En plus, on sonne a la porte très longtemps et ca prend une éternité pour que quelqu'un nous ouvre la porte. La 2e nuit, l'air climatisé faisait un bruit tres bizarre et c'etaif dérangeant pour dormir, on a appele le gars qui travaillait là et il nous a dit qu'il a essaye de faire son possible sans même essayer de nous transférer de chambre ou agir rapidement. Il avait la sang froid et disait j'ai fait mon maximum alors qu'il n'a rien fait pour régler le problème. En gros, c'est comme s'il disait qu'on doit supporter le bruit et c'est tout, on n'a meme pas dormi toute la nuit a cause du bruit. Personne vient nettoyer la chambre ou meme mettre des mouchoir supplémentaire. En faisaant le check out, ca a pris 15 min d'attente pour que quelqu'un sorte nous dise ok c'est bon qu'on parte. Service pas bien et jamais je vais recommander quelqu'un la bas. Dommage parce que c'etait notre première fois a Paris.

Property in terrible conditions, and smells bad. Sheets were not changed and found hair all over and some stains. Check in is self- check in, so if you are traveling, with no data plan, it would be difficult to enter. Staff was friendly.

The breakfast was good. It was a unique experience to stay at a hotel without a reception, and the unique was of entering the building and room. The bathtub/shower needed rails for support in getting in and out, and in case one slipped whilst taking a shower since the shower / bathtub floor was not slip-proofed.

This hotel has very poor service and management. They don’t have real reception at all and claimed they will send QR code for check in. They sent a code for part of the confirmation that wasn’t working and would not answer any questions before we leave for our trip. We didn’t have a good feeling about that. Finally upon arrival at the hotel, a couple of young ladies were sitting around a table and told us they were over booked and won’t have room for us. Instead they booked us for the same price for another hotel in a different Arrondissement which normally people don’t prefer to stay based on the reviews. We booked the hotel a few months back and couldn’t find anything in such a short notice if we didn’t accept the new offer. This brought us a lot of unnecessary stress and almost ruined our one week trip in Paris. Strongly don’t recommend this hotel.

The location is excellent with all major attractions ready to access. The facility however is a bit old with very small rooms, old carpeting, tiles and bathrooms. The toilet in the room is so high that it is very uncomfortable to use. There is only soap but no shampoo or conditioner. Overall very bare bone rooms. The breakfast is great value for money at 14 euro per person compared to nearby restaurants.

This property was centrally located and the breakfast was good but the room was super old and not fully clean - furniture broken with stains and dust everywhere. Several of the staff were not very friendly. Very thin walls so it was sometimes hard to sleep if a guest was talking. I wouldn’t stay there again.

The property is located about fifteen minutes walk from the Arch the Triumph. The bathroom was very clean and of good size. The bed was comfortable. Unfortunately, there was not an extension for the kettle and the carpet had bad smell. No hand wash provided.

The hotel is good. Its location is excellent, within walking distance of Place de l’étoile and the Pereira-Levallois and Porte Maillot metro stations. The hotel is basically staffless. They do not clean ir make up your room regularly. They change towels every second day. The walls are thin so you get to hear your neighbors if they are a bit noisy. MAIN DRAWBACKS: their electric outlets are ONLY of the French type. We took only by chance an adaptor, otherwise we could not have been able to charge our phones. This would have been a tragedy considering that your room’s lock works only with a QR code and most importantly they do not supply enough toilet paper and since there is virtually no staff, if you run out you will have to buy your own. Apart from these small drawbacks the hotel is nice, well located and very reasonably priced.

BEWARE! Please ensure you get the room you paid for! We booked a “Superior Room” on Expedia, but when we arrived at the hotel, the room we were given was shockingly small, not what we expected. It was barely big enough for two people, I have a closet at home that’s bigger than the room we were first put in. There was nothing “superior” about it. After spending six out of our eight nights in that room, I finally brought it up with the staff because I suspected we were given the wrong room type. About five minutes later, I got a call from a staff member who assured me we were in a superior room. I explained that the room didn’t match the photos or descriptions online, no view, there was no shower curtain, the bathtub didn’t hold water due to a faulty drain stopper, the room itself was cramped and for the amount of money we paid, the room was not worth it! Thankfully, the staff offered to show us a different room on the floor above and what a difference! It was spacious, clean, and actually matched what we had originally booked. My only regret is not speaking up sooner, we could have enjoyed a better room for more of our stay. When people travel to Paris, they want a great experience, and that includes their hotel stay. Even if it’s just for sleeping, comfort and space matter. I’m truly grateful to the staff for helping us switch rooms for our final two nights, it made a big difference. Just make sure to double check that you’re getting the room you actually booked!
