I felt very safe and the reception is open 24/7. I brought my own disinfectant kit whenever I used provided utilities such as sinks, toilets, and shower knobs. There's was a locker underneath my bed, I had no idea to bring my own lock so I bought one at the desk. Very english friendly in a language barrier environment. I also didnt know it was a bar, but I didn't mind the partying that occurred the floor below. Highly recommendable for Night life and budget trips. At Night, the canal outside looks beautiful.

The bed needed an upgrade was a bit lumpy. When I stayed here 2 years ago the bed was wonderful that is why I returned but I didn't get as lucky this time.

Hostel Very Bad

The rooms smell bad, there is no hand sanitizer, there is no hairdryer, the room is very, very cold, the heating does not work, and the hostel does not have a refrigerator to store food, a very bad place I do not recommend, the only good thing is that Mrs. Rose the receptionist is a very nice person.

Right next to parks and canals as well as being near small, cute and cool cafes and restaurants. Because its right near the canal at night there can be shady characters, but it's not dangerous. It can be cery loud at night because of the bar so its a perfect party hostel and not really one for chilling while traveling.
