We had an incredible stay at this property and would absolutely return despite a rocky start to our vacation...Upon arrival, we discovered that another family already checked in, which was the result of an unfortunate double booking. To say it was uncomfortable is an understatement. The two-hour process of sorting out "who stays and who goes" was genuinely stressful, especially with families involved. That said, the property owner was reachable immediately, came over right away, and handled the situation with urgency and kindness. We were ultimately able to stay for our full scheduled nights, and we are SO glad we did, because this property was absolutely incredible.The grounds are immaculately maintained and genuinely stunning both during the day and lit up beautifully at night. The real draw to this place for us, though, are the farm animals. Waking up every morning to Lyle the cow, Ruby the zebra, and Pablo the donkey who are clearly best friends made for some truly magical mornings we won't soon forget.The location is a dream for nature lovers. Situated near Ocala National Park, the surrounding scenery is breathtaking, and it served as the perfect home base for hitting multiple Florida springs throughout our trip.Bottom line: the check-in hiccup was real and worth knowing about, but the owner's responsiveness, the beauty of the property, and the overall experience earned every one of these five stars. Highly recommend!
