We booked this place just to have a place to sleep at night since we would be outside most all day of our stay. The ocean view was really good but not much of a beach view. Sunset view was amazing and beyond beautiful! Let me stay that we had a great time so I don’t want this to all sound negative. Recess A unit fit our needs. I must warn you that if you are hot natured that you cannot set the thermostat below 72 per instructions in the unit. That should be in the rental description. I wish we would have known that ahead of time since the bedrooms are upstairs, hot air rises, and there was not a ceiling fan in the bedroom we stayed in. Also, we didn’t think the bed situation would be an issue but quickly realize that we didn’t like crawling into bed from the foot every time. There are no TVs in the bedrooms.I would like for the owner to consider putting a red bulb instead of a white light bulb in the fixture over the outdoor stairs for the sea turtles. Overall the unit could have used a little more attention to the cleanliness. The floors downstairs looked clean visually but needed to be mopped better…white socks were brown the first day of arrival before tracking in anything. It did seem a bit worn; light switches are dirty, the shelf above the toilet upstairs is very dusty, popcorn ceiling coming loose, careless painting, nail holes in the walls, rusty door hinges and shower bars, and other cosmetics things that need to be repaired.
