Cape San Blas is a 19-mile long peninsula tucked between the Gulf of Mexico and St. Joseph Bay. The Cape is anchored by the St. Joseph Peninsula State Park, a wonder of nature. Many visitors choose to vacation in Gulf County because of the abundance of outdoor activities at the State Park. Located roughly one mile from the entrance sits Cape Bear, a vacation rental home designed to enjoy.

This 3-bedroom beach house is arranged on a single level and features an open design to host your group of up to eight. The natural light that pours in with floor-to-ceiling windows creates a bright and beachy spot, blurring the lines between indoors and out. The elevated ceilings stretch the interior space making it seem much roomier. There are two guest bedrooms and a master book-ending the open living area. It’s hard to determine which room is best, the stylishly furnished living room with a sleeper sofa or the wide-open kitchen that opens onto a covered, furnished deck. You can’t go wrong spending time in either.

With a great outdoor space, including an outdoor shower and fish cleaning area, Cape Bear is just right to make ending your day of adventure at the park convenient and easy. While there is no deeded beach access from the property, several public options are nearby. Aside from the State Park, Dunes Drive Access and Cape Palms Park are located within a 4-minute drive. If you want to travel by foot, Coneheads 8020 is located within walking distance and easy to get to to enjoy an ice cream cone or local seafood for lunch or dinner.
