At check out, told that was not charged the right amount at check in and needed to pay more. Unacceptable for a 5 star hotel. Beautiful property right by the river. The customer service is excellent. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was very impressive. We especially enjoyed Vinology with the port tasting and river views. The restaurant bar was equally excellent and bartender Raquel Santos went way above and beyond in providing a personalized experience.She explained the mixology of different cocktails, variety of Portuguese wines the region prides itself of, etc. Our room was very comfortable and the views from our window of the river and unique architecture of the buildings across in the district of Gaia was fantastic.
