I ran into some issues with the flinty front desk gal in my initial attempt to check in. The other woman working the desk was very friendly and professional. This is a very basic hotel in primarily targeting people coming in and out of the airport. For that it works just fine, but I was a little dismayed to see pretty significant mold growing in the shower of this relatively new and otherwise clean looking establishment. If I was flying out of Porto again, I would probably look for a different option.

This hotel is just 12 minutes walking distance to the airport. Our flight is in the early morning. We did not even need to take a taxi. Very convenient.

The option of the airport shuttle was quoted at €40 for a 3 min drive . So it’s best to walk , but it’s not a straightforward walk .

The property was nice and clean. I couldn’t get the AC to work. I told the front desk. It was so late I just went to bed. The door stuck and had to be pushed extra hard to open, which I reported the next day.

The room was great except the air conditioner didn’t work. The thermostat said change filter. We arrived very late and air con wasn’t on so we set it on 21C° and the room never got cool and the fan didn’t produce any air to speak of.
