We were very pleasantly surprised with the hotel. For the price, it was a steal. It was a suite with 2 bedrooms and balcony. The best part is it was only a block from the square.

Perfectly positioned

Perfectly positioned to explore Prague. Easy to get to from the airport (1x bus to the tube, then a short walk). Lovely staff. Comfortable beds and spacious rooms. Breakfast was lovely, with lots of choice - pastries, yogurt, fruit, cereal, cakes, bacon, sausage, eggs, beans, mushrooms, tea, coffee, fruit juice and breads.

Great hotel, friendly staff and amazing location

The hotel is superb in terms of location, just a couple of minutes walk from Old Town Square. Spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, large room and lots of little extras (slippers, toiletries, etc) Staff were friendly, efficient and helpful, and allowed us to utilise the secure baggage storage area. Breakfast was excellent, with great variety and a time period that will suit almost everyone. I would definitely return to this hotel.

Great Hotel in a great location, which was only a 5 minute walk from the Old Town Square in Prague. There was a good variety of things available for Breakfast. The only concern was some building work in the corridor from reception to the lifts which wasn't finished, and what seemed like loose electrical wiring hanging from the celing onto the floor.

Good but could be better

Hotel was in a good location and the terrace connected to our room was nice overlooking Prague. Customer service was average and there were issues with the showers in both bathrooms. Fix your plumbing. Building works going on which was noisy in the morning. Cleaning could have been better.

"I recently stayed at Hotel LEON D ORO (19 January to 24 January 2025 and was disappointed with the treatment I received at reception from Olga. When I brought up an issue about the cold temperature in my room, the staff dismissed my concerns in a rude and unhelpful manner. Instead of offering a solution, I felt ignored and undervalued as a guest.I have been freezing in the room,was 18 degrees. She was telling me to check the radiator. But every time was feeling cold. Luckily wes night I have asked the receptionist for some blankets, duvets and he was kind to give me which help a bit with the cold. My partner get really ill because off the cold from the room. However hotel has a good location and breakfast young lady's was really nice. Good customer service is essential, and I hope the management takes steps to ensure all guests are treated with respect. Unfortunately, this experience negatively impacted my stay.

Very nice hotel in an excellent location that is perfect for seeing the old town square, the main sights, close to the Charles bridge etc. Loads of shopping and dining opportunities close by. The restaurant recommended by the hotel is nice for local cuisine and well priced. Breakfast at the hotel is lovely with a wide variety, while the rooms were spacious and clean. Our only issue was the lack of plug sockets available in the room as after a day of exploring, charging our devices is a top priority and was difficult to do. We stayed at another hotel for 3 nights of our trip and had to book an extra night elsewhere due to our flight being changed. We all agreed this hotel out of the two was way better and we wished we'd booked this one in the first place. The other one was nice but the location and size of the rooms made this one a much more enjoyable stay. Would recommend.

We stayed in the Studio Suite, Terrace and it was HUGE! The terrace was two stories itself! We did not expect this much space. There was 2 bedrooms on different floors and a pull out couch. As well as two separate full bathrooms! Very clean and in a perfect location! We could see the astrological clock from our hotel!!

Loved this hotel!

We spent 5 nights at this hotel and loved it. Location is amazing, walking distance to all main attractions and around the corner from a metro station. Room was very spacious and everything was perfectly clean. It was also very warm, considering that it's mid January and it's really cold outside. Check in was easy and check out even easier. Dining area is large, no issue to find a table, and breakfast was just amazing! A lot of different food options every morning, both sweet and savory and it's constantly replenished. Every one was nice and we would definitely go back again.

The hotel, rooms, and location are great. However, the amenities are not. The shower randomly goes from normal to burning hot and hurt. Also, the noise inside the hotel is awful. I could hear every footstep on the floor, furniture moving, people talking and taking showers, and water running through pipes right next to the bed. I had to use headphones to get sleep. Again, it’s beautiful, but would not stay again.

The best part about this property is how central it is. It is walkable to all main points of interest in Prague. The rooms are clean and the bedding is crisp.
