Extremely clean rooms! Comfortable beds! (and I am picky about both!) It had a “homey” feeling. This place is a rare find. It is run by a husband and wife that are very kind and very accommodating. This is my second time staying here. On this trip our group of 6 rented 2 rooms and everyone in our group enjoyed their stay. I will stay here EVERY TIME I travel through Raton, NM.

This motel is very special. The staff was wonderful and very friendly. The room was spotless, with tons of personality. Each room has a theme. Ours was the Matador. I highly recommend this little motel.

Greeted warmly, good recommendation for dinner. Stayed in “Matador” room. A bit cheesy but clean and comfortable. Felt like traveling back in time. Door lock didn’t seem very secure but area seemed safe enough. Not much of a breakfast but the price was right. Would def stay here again.

We love everything about this hotel. The rooms are clean, comfortable and each one has a different theme. The couple who own and run this property are so kind they treat you like they've known you forever and you'll love the message on the marquis. We will always stay here.

We cannot say enough kind things about this husband & wife team who own this. The room we stayed in was so stinking cute. Each room is themed. Ours was the “pin up”. Let your imagination. Very family friendly and so clean. The bathroom was so clean! Will go out of our way to stay again if going back home the same way.

I love this place, and go out of my way some to stop in Raton so I can sleep here. Every room is set up with cool old decorations around a specific theme. The owners are fantastic. Last time there they bent over backwards trying to help my buddy track down his lost wallet. It’s also easy walking distance to downtown, and while there’s not a whole lot going on in Raton it does have its charms.
