The bed had an Oder, the hand towel had a big brown stain or maybe it hadn’t been washed. The pillows stunk and was hard as a rock. I ended up leaving at midnight because I couldn’t sleep in this smelly place

You get a little less than you pay for, and the price is cheap. Not providing even a little shampoo bottle was a pretty sad decision made by Motel 6. We always seem to forget about that and regret going there. This hotel was even a little worse than other Motel 6’s we have stayed at. Some furniture was coming apart and the bed and pillow were not even comfortable. Only plus was the smell of bleach upon opening the door. At least the cleaner was liberal with the strong stuff.

Convenient location right off the freeway with some a number of food and shopping options nearby. Room seemed clean but some towels were stained so appeared dirty. Dog(s) sounded like they were upstairs-maybe give them a downstairs room when available-didn’t seem booked as there were parking spaces open late night/early morning. Some upstairs neighbors had heavy feet

I made my reservation through Expedia. This is the fourth Motel 6 we have stayed at on this short trip. We were not told there would be a $100 deposit and we have not been put through near the paces we went through here. This is not the nicest one we have stayed at so was a bit surprised. Had I not already paid for it I would have gone somewhere else.

There was a pubic hair in the shower. The clean towels had stains on them. An indifferent staff. Next time I'm passing through Redding I'll spend a little more for a cleaner room. Motel 6 is you get what you pay for. Also, the bed was sagging greatly on the one side most people sleep on. Mattress needs to be replaced or at least flipped. Oh, and I was glad I had a sleeping bag as the comforter was paper thin.

Clean room, comfortable bed. Nonsmoking room but it has residual old smoke scent. Perhaps recently changed policy. I appreciate that they charge no fee for dogs and there is a place to take them to potty. Convenient access to food gas and groceries. Staff pleasant and provided helpful local info.

The area seemed a little sketchy. One of the rooms smelled so badly of cigarette smoke we asked to change rooms. But otherwise overall it was clean and the staff was nice.
