We arrived early staff was generous to let us check in thank you again for that staff is amazing. Hotel is beautiful. Rooms are clean. I must have overlooked but rooms have no refrigerator. Would have been nice for cold drinks or wine. Breakfast each morning looked great. Thats extra. Hotel has a very nice set up bar and restaurant style. I would definitely stay again. Good parking if you’re renting a car.

The Eyja staff were wonderful… friendly, informative and courteous. The rooms were cozy and quiet. We enjoyed being able to walk to a local coffee shop down the street and having access to a market around the block. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Our stay at Eyja was lovely. The rooms are chic and the beds are comfy, the bar area is adorable and the staff was helpful. My only complaints are that the gym was pretty lackluster (there’s really just yoga mats and a broken row machine) and the bar and restaurant close so early - I believe at 9? Having some food options other than chips for nights when we came in later would have been great!

One of the coziest hotels I've stayed at! Lovely interior, lots of places to eat, read, work, enjoy conversation. Room was immaculate, tastefully decorated. Nice view of the harbor, wonderful bathroom and entryway. Local shops nearby, including a fantastic music store. Downtown area was about 15-20 min walk. Quiet neighborhood. Courteous, friendly hotel staff. Will definitely return again!

I really enjoyed the aesthetic of this hotel. The lobby and accompanying coffee area and restaurant very cozy and has a diverse menu. The overall location of the hotel was also convenient to the downtown Reykjavík shops, museums, and restaurants.
