Villa Ghirlanda is a beautiful villa located near Gaiole in Chianti, in the heart of Chianti area.
The property is accessed through a short tree-lined path, along which you can admire a wonderful panorama of the surrounding countryside.
The villa boasts a large private garden (4,000 sqm) on 3 sides, decorated with many ancient jars, plants and flowers.
Moreover, among the outdoor spaces you will find a lovely private swimming pool (8 x 4 m), a dining table and a barbecue, ideal for pleasant alfresco meals.
The villa's owner is a wine maker and you can book with him a visit to his cellars and a taste of his wines.

Villa Ghirlanda is located in Monteverdi, at 1.2 away from the village of Gaiole in Chianti, in the wonderful area of Chianti Classico, known worldwide for the prestigious wine to which it gives birth (the typical emblem of the Gallo Nero) and for its evocative sceneries and charming villages which are along the “Via Chiantigiana”, from the nearby Greve to Panzano, from Castellina to Radda.

Even Siena, a splendid medieval city full of tradition and artistic masterpieces, is near, just 40 minutes away by car.
It is also worth visiting the countryside of Siena: here you will find other medieval gems, of incomparable charm and still remained intact, like Monteriggioni, San Gimignano and San Galgano.
