This cozy apartment lies on the second floor of a historic building - without elevator - that will welcome you to the atmosphere of the old days in Rome. From the inner courtyard, where it is still possible to see the ancient wash tubs, a staircase leads to the apartment door. The apartment is bright and has been completely renovated, still showing the beautiful wood beamed ceiling. It consists of a double bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen - with, among the rest, an induction cooktop and a dining table for four -, a living room with a comfortable sofa-bed - that can be converted in a double bed, if needed -, a bathroom with shower - whose modern wall-hung toilet can't afford an over 115 kilos/253 pounds weight. Dishwasher, washing machine, air conditioning and free internet wi-fi are available for guests. This is a perfect deal for those who want to enjoy the heart of Rome, still having an island of peace to take refuge in! Going out of the building you will be immediately part of Rome's alleys life, with a daily fresh market in the small square just in front of the entrance door. Our thanks to Sara and Emanuel! Great hosts! Responded promptly to all inquiries, and tremendous help assisting with ride to airport. Great location, les than 5 minutes to Pantheon and Gelato! Terrific restaurant 20 feet outside the front door. Ate there 3 times in 5 days ! Lots of room. A word of caution, you are in a residential building so the kids can be boisterous at times, but the building is quiet from 10 pm on. Would without a doubt stay here again!

The apartment was in a fabulous location of Rome—in the middle of everything but very quiet. We especially enjoyed Piazza Coppelle, which is right outside the front door. It’s a farmers market in the morning, a great lunch destination by day, and great for dinner at night with the outside tables and happy buzz of conversation. The stairs to the apartment are two flights: the first is a typical staircase and the second is very steep, so pack light. This place is a great value for the quality and location and is exactly as shown in the listing.

GREAT location!

This was the perfect location for our family. Our kids are 6 and 10 and it made walking to our favorite sites and restaurants a breeze. It's totally in the center, and yet tucked away in a very quiet little spot so that you don't feel the busyness of the main streets of the area. And the apartment itself was clean and very spacious...and the AC last June was a big bonus :) I would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here for 4 nights and the place was excellent. It is very close in walking distance to a lot of great places. Very easy to communicate with the owner. There are a few great restaurants and wine bar right around the corner which made it very convenient to eat.

Perfect place to stay in Rome!

The neighborhood is friendly and close to everything. The apartment is clean and spacious. The owner was most helpful upon check in. All the amenities you could possibly need and he left us a generous amount of coffee. It is two flights of stairs which was hard for me because I’m traveling for a month and I had two heavy bags. Next time I’ll pack lighter.

We enjoyed our stay in the pantheon area. There are so many charming eateries and we were able to walk almost everywhere. When we did want a cab - they were easy to find. The apartment is clean and comfortable. We did have some trouble with the internet -it seemed to go in and out.

Very nice apartment, well equipped, perfect for two

Very central location, but the apartment is quiet, facing towards a court yard, hence no street noise. Located on second floor, quite steep stairs though. The apartment is perfect for a couple, newly renovated, bathroom and kitchen fine (although we didn’t cook, just had our breakfast in the apartment - there are plenty of good restaurants in the neighborhood!). Sara was very helpful when we arrived. Definitely an apartment we will consider on out next visit to Rome.

We enjoyed our stay in this apartment which was wonderfully located within walking distance to all we wanted to see and do in Rome. Restaurants, bakery, grocery all a short walk. Softer lighting in the living room like a lamp would be a nice addition. We would stay here again.

Location, location, location

Great location, we walked everywhere, few minutes to Pantheon, few minutes to plaza Navona but at the same time secluded in a quiet charm narrow street with Michelin restaurants just outside of the door. Old building (normal) but totally new inside, lots of light, air conditioner works great, no view to the street BUT it’s a blessing because at night you are so tired that you will appreciate the “silent” / no-street noise to have a good sleep. Great communication with property manager. We will recommend this apartment and will stay again!
