The positives: Checkin was easy. The host or representative of the host was there to meet us upon arrival. I did inform the host that we will be arriving a bit earlier than the posted checkin time. Host response time to questions/issues were reasonable. The location was perfect. It was literally steps away from the Trevi fountain and restaurants and shopping areas. The a/c worked well upstairs and the portable one on the first floor was ok if you face it towards you. The negatives: You have to wait for hot water to reset after each shower. There were times when a couple of us had to take cold showers until we figured out we had to wait at least 20-30 mins in between showers. The bathroom was really small (very common I guess) and not a lot of room to hang towels (there were 3 of us) so we hung them on hangers in the room rack. The shower door, even when closed with the latch, water got on the bathroom floor. Someone was sent the first day to fix the issue but it was ineffective. My husband had to wring the towels used on the floor everyday before leaving because we found out that it leaked onto the first floor near the sofa bed where my son slept. When the host was informed of the leak, all I got was a reaction emoji thus the wringing of the towels so no puddle of water left on the floor. I had to call the host early in the morning of our departure where to leave the keys because you need a key to open the gate to get out of the building as there was no instruction given.
